Definitely not a form fit cover but not advertises as such
WAY too big for a 2004 5 hp Mercury motor. Adequately covers entire power head and also tiller when folded back in transport position, (and much more). If you just need a cover to protect the motor from UV and rain it is inexpensive and does the job. It has a rubberized coating on the inside which protects the motor from rain. Would not attempt to leave it on this small motor while driving on the road for any extended periods of time. I am using it when the boat is parked in the marina in its slip. It has held up well and has not faded much over 3 seasons in the sun in Wisconsin. (Season = 6 months).

A bit large for small outboards.
A bit over-sized my my 2.5 hp Tohatsu/Nissan, but fits and protects. Came with a nice carry bag which I use to carry small extra lines/rope.

I just don't know what to do
The product is made pretty well, and it appears water proof ok. But the name is Budge BA-30 and I think workers keep pulling the cover meant for 30 plus horse power outboard motors. I ordered the one for the 2.5 horse power dinghy motor and twice they have sent one that is even too big for my 15 horse power outboard on my yacht. I just don't know what to do.

Replaced draw string
Fit my 9.9 HP Johnson with throttle retracted vertically perfectly. Thin nylon draw string disintegrated to dust in three months, outdoors in the dry Arizona sun. Recommend replacing draw string as soon as you receive it. Cover has faded to a light blue. We will see how the fabric holds up in the harsh Phoenix area conditions over the next year.

Much too big for a small engine. You could never draw the drawstring tight enough to secure it to the engine

Ridiculous sizing
The product is a joke. I ordered the smallest cover for my 2.5 Honda outboard. The cover is huge. It will cover 3-4 motors.
