Not as I thought
This item states wireless charger. Apparently apple does not have that capability for older devices. Do not be duped as I was.I was looking for a wireless charger for my iPad Air 2 due to my iPad port is not charging when plugged in. This case still plugs into the iPad which does not work for my situation.However, if a device is new and the port is working this would be a good choice. Plugging in and pulling out the charger cord would not end up damaging the iPad port.

I-Pad always charged.
I got this for work and find it works great. the I-pad is always charged and hold it when not in use very well. very sturdy and perfect for holding the pad while reading and searching the net, or typing with a key board.you don't need a laptop this makes the pad into one! I would buy again. price is worth every penny
