Top of the line medical ID
I am SO happy with this medical ID sleeve! It’s better than I even thought it would be. I have been using a different medical ID for a very long time, and I won’t necessarily be stopping with this other ID company, but I got this medical ID sleeve to put on my service dog’s collar. He’s always with me anyway, and I have worried in the past about what I will do if there is an emergency and we get separated. It’s been especially worrying to me if I have an emergency on the road in my car and we somehow get separated that emergency personnel won’t have full information on him OR about me on him.I have tried various solutions, such as medical papers carried with us, but since he is one of the few dogs who is not comfortable in a full vest, that is cumbersome and sometimes difficult. My other medical ID bracelet indicates that I have a medical alert dog, but it didn’t allow for a lot of information. I LOVE that this sleeve allows anyone to simply scan the QR code and full information on my conditions, plus some notes that I am able to add comes up. This is amazing…plus there is ABUNDANT room to add medications, emergency contacts, allergies, and all sorts of other stuff. There is both a free and a paid version. The free version is more than adequate for all your basic information, including a notes section. The paid version offers a discount if you pay for the whole year. The cost is very much in line with what you would pay for any of these types of services. The sleeve is sturdy, easily visible, and I am pleased with how comprehensive it is. I had a bit of difficulty getting the ID to pair, but once it did everything comes up perfectly. We will see how this wears over time, but so far I am totally happy. If this one wears well on my dog’s collar I will definitely get a second one to wear on my watch so we are matching up, but for now we will start with this. I’m giving this five ⭐️, but it deserves way more for how great it is! Highly, highly recommend.

Could be better
First of all, this company does not seem to be an American company, so there are some annoying things to deal with. For example, it asks for your height. You can only enter in numbers in the box. So I’m guessing they want you to post your height in inches which is something I am guessing most Americans don’t do. It wouldn’t allow me to enter the words feet and inches into that box.I tried to add my medical condition. It was not listed in terms that are used here in the United States. This was also super annoying. I chose what I am guessing is closest to my condition and then added more info under the comments.I actually have a bracelet and then two of the sleeves to add to a bracelet or watch band. When I added the bracelet first, it let me name it. When I added the sleeves, it only asked me to name one of them. It didn’t tell me which one I was naming, so I ended up naming it incorrectly. There seems to be no way to edit the names of your bracelets or sleeves, so this is also annoying. (Edit: I contacted the company through chat and if you rotate your mobile device, you can then see the edit link). They replied through an email, and it didn’t contain some Russian language. I mean, we should all know not all Russians are bad, but this is probably going to cost this company to suffer if they are trying to be legit. The process of adding the devices and entering in your profile data is clunky. Again with the non-US language it asks for your region (which is where I entered my state since there’s no other place to include that). This profile also allows you to enter in your social security number. Uh, no way. Luckily, that is optional. It says your data is secure, but, who knows? When I tried to add my medications, they didn’t come up with the search. In fact, birth control wasn’t found at all. Every medication is going to have to be manually added if it’s not found in the search bar. Again, this is annoying. If you aren’t going to list all medications or even broad categories then why have the search feature at all? If you take many medications, this is going to take some time to set up.When scanning a device (bracelet or sleeve), it opens the QR code and will then ask you to type the code and then scan it again. It’s a very redundant process.I’ve never used a medical ID like this before. It seems like it can be a useful thing in the event of a true emergency, however, there are definitely some improvements that could be made.

I Like The Idea
The QRepublik™ Sleeve Medical ID for Men, Women is a rubber band, but not like a conventional rubberband. It slides over your watch band and its sole purpose is to provide your name and medical information in the event you cannot. It should last a long time. The scannable QR Code is printed on a small insert that is not paper but looks like it. In concept, it is a great idea.In practice, I'm not sure I will use it. I understood that I would have to enter my health data on 'some' website in order for this to work. I will do some research on this company before I give them my health data. Here is the thing that lost 1 star. If you want to store more than basic information you have to pay an annual $20 subscription. I understand. It costs money to store data and send data when the QR code is scanned. Other than setting it up and testing it, most people will seldom scan their code. Having to pay $20 annually seems excessive. But that is only for storing extra data, basic data is free.

Necessity!!
I've been wanting one of these for a while. I'm not a runner, but I do a lot of driving. The app/website is SUPER easy to use and the profile is very user friendly! Everyone must have!

Got this to replace my old one
This fits on my apple watch perfectly and it is small and not bulky at all, I don't even notice I am wearing it. I I have removed one star because it was a bit confusing when editing my profile, especially when trying to select blood type. I know my blood type but was still unsure of which option to select. Also, these do not last forever. I mainly just wear my watch during workouts, on trips or when I leave the house, which isn't very often. I do not wear it in the shower. But the QR code has already faded after 1 1/2 to 2 years and is no longer scanning.
