Excellent Sleeping Bag Liner, Rectangular 41" wide, from THE FRIENDLY SWEDE
I camp a lot in both hot and cold climates, and I own several other sleeping bag liners. I agreed to accept a free sample from The Friendly Swede for testing and impartial consumer review. After testing it on a 3 day camping trip, here's what I think:1. This is a rectangular liner, not a mummy design like some others. Rectangular is much more roomy and comfortable. At 41" wide, this is the largest liner I've ever seen (most are 32" to 34", including the ones I already own). I have long legs and I slept very comfortably in this.2. Nice texture. My other Polyester liners feel like taffeta, and they can 'stick' to the skin if it's humid. This liner feels more like silk than taffeta, and it doesn't stick. Very easy to get in and out of. There's a long side opening which closes with velcro tabs.3. Unlike my other liners, this liner extends up past my head, with a 41" pocket suitable for a full size pillow, or for the inside of a hooded sleeping bag. An unexpected bonus.4. For those who want a liner for use in hostel beds, or in Third World hotels, this seems like a great choice. It has the full-sized pillow option, and enough room that you don't feel cramped.5. It washes easily (machine wash is fine) and also air dries quickly when hung up.6. Like all liners, it takes up almost no space in a pack, and it weighs little.7. This adds probably 5 to 8 degrees of subjective warmth to a standard sleeping bag. And it can be used on its own on a very warm night (like summer in the Southeast). This is also a good choice for sleeping overnight on a sailboat, where you don't need much cover and cabin space is at a premium.Summary: great product, and much less expensive than brand name liners at the major outdoor chain stores. I'm totally pleased with this liner, and it really exceeds my expectations.I hope this is helpful as you comparison shop online. Happy trails and happy camping, everybody.

hostel travelers, don't go anywhere without it
i'm not exactly a small guy - 6'2" 245 but this was plenty roomy enough for me. In warm weather, I used this instead of a blanket or sleeping bag and was completely fine. It packs up small enough to just throw in my backpack. Also took it on a backpacking trip through Costa Rica. If you're staying in a hostel, I wouldn't go anywhere without it.

Roomy and comfy
I was initially looking for a cotton liner, but none of them had a side opening. Thought I'd try this one, but was a little concerned about polyester, and even more so when I saw the satin finish, because it can snag on your feet. But it's perfect! Plenty of room, and I can turn over without the liner twisting around me. I will use this for couch-surfing at my daughter's small apartment, instead of having to remove and replace the bedding on her only sofa.

Very light and easy to pack/carry (a definite plus) and unlike some other ...
Recently purchased and used this Sleeping Bag Liner while hiking in the the Ausangate Mountains in Peru and it was exactly as advertised. Very light and easy to pack/carry (a definite plus) and unlike some other liners it's very roomy, comfortable and didn't give that "confined" feeling at all. Being made of polyester, it provided more warmth than I expected. I would highly recommend this product.

A must have for international travelers or campers & hikers
These have been a godsend for our international travels with children. I will most certainly use them camping as well. They are small enough to fit in my medium size purse (about the size of a poncho in a package). I travel with confidence knowing when I return, I can chunk the entire thing in the washing machine and avoid bedbug concerns. The fabric is surprisingly comfortable and breathes well for my sweaty sleeper. I highly recommend this for anyone who camps or travels to 'iffy' places around the world.

Love it so far
I’ve yet to use this in the field but my first impressions are positive. I have a Sea to summit thermolite reactor as my other liner. It is awesome when I’m looking for added warmth. With this I’m looking for cool and clean. Care is much easier than silk and cost is a slam dunk. Initial impressions are I love the zipper. Much easier getting my 54 yo arse in than snaking in from top. I’m also no little boy at 6’3” 240#. Plenty of room here. First real test will be on a sailboat in the Bahamas next month. Clearly added warmth won’t be a concern. This is my sleeping bag.If my opinion changes, I’ll check back in.

Great Value and Features
I love the feel, quick drying capabilities, and ease of getting into and out of this travel sheet. I ourchased this for a three week stay in AirBnbs in Italy. It was great for rooms that weren't as clean as I'd like and for scratchy sheets. I am a larger girl (short, size 14/16) and I could comfortably get into and out of this and sleep without getting tangled in it. Given the price point, I can hardl complain but you should know despite only luxury use (i.e. i n beds or on futons), the sheet did develop a snag and a small tear in 3 week's use. I was hoping to also bring on backpacking trips (though a tad heavy for this purpose) for nights when it's too hot for a sleeping bag, but the durability will likely be an issue. For light use (i.e., a specific trip), I highly recommend. For frequent traveller s, you probably need to upgrade to the more expensive travel sheets.

Friendly Swede sleeping liner
I got this liner to go inside a sleeping bag or to use in sheets in places that might be a little dodgy. It’s soft and comfy, and easy to wash (dries fast, too). It takes a little getting used to getting in and out since it only opens half way on the side. Also, since I’m accustomed to sleeping with my feet sticking out, this makes me do without that. However, that’s kind of the point. If it opened all the way down, it wouldn’t do what it’s supposed to do, the inherent contradiction is mine, and not a product design flaw. I mention it only because people who really don’t want to deal with that, shouldn’t get the product.

Good kit
I boughthis as it has been too warm for my down sleeping bag so I wanted a liner and my down blanket (it was a good combo) I am not normally keen on silky sheets but was surprisingly happy inside this and it would still be OK for someone of much larger proportions than I
