Works fine, but...
Be aware that, despite the pic, you are buying only ONE unit.Also, its much shorter in length than what it may appear via the pic (it does tell you the length, however; I ckd, afterwards).Those caveats having been stated, I DID keep the unit; and it works well/like it's supposed to.Recommended - just be aware.

Bought it for nostalgia
Somewhere I saw it way back in my grant uncle house and thought it would be cool to have. It is actually good for honing knives, though there might be more modern way to do that. The twisted nail used for a hood is cool.

It worked for my grandpa
He was a barber. It works for me, too.There IS a difference. No matter what quality sharpening method you use, you will appreciate having a strop for an edge finish/top-off. There IS a good bit of 'cool factor' to using a strop. Put that with the end-result...you will be happy.I keep mine hanging on my kitchen range oven handle. A tool that is handy to use will be used more often. With it on-hand and easy to use...I use it often for kitchen and general cutlery.The bent nail looking hanger is cute... AND swivels/holds the strop perfectly.
