Egh...
It's cheap for a reason, and if you're wondering why you haven't heard of Lindberg before you won't be surprised why. It's a very simple kit with around fifty or so parts made of some of the most flimsy plastic I've ever seen, chocolate boxes can take more of a beating I think.I really wanted to like this kit, I did, sort of. It's one of only a few kits that have working ailerons/flaps for it's price. But considering it's price, you'd be better off with a Revell/Monogram kit. Decals in the kit are printed by Lindberg if I remember right, they're sturdy and of reasonable quality, but only because there isn't much detail in Germanic crosses and an optional yellow stripe.Buy it if you REALLY want a Me-262 and don't want a nicer Tamiya kit (probably the way to go for a 262).

A great kit, and a fun build
I have to say that the other person that said this model is flimsy, I highly disagree with. I had finished assembly, and was taking the plane outside to spray paint it's first base coat of olive green, when I did something unthinkable. I dropped the plane. In horror, I watched as the plane did a graceful but quick barrel roll, followed by a severe dive onto the sidewalk next to the garage. I thought it had to have some significant damage. To my relief, I picked it up, and the only minor damage that occurred was a slightly bent backward ring that is raised out of the mid-section of the tail. I pushed it back into place, and it was fine. The right side engine hood (which is designed to open and close had popped out of the fuselage, and I popped it back in, and the plane looked like it had never fallen. This is a model of a plane after all, and it exhibited actual flight characteristics when I dropped it. Although I would not recommend flight attempts with your model, I would recommend it as a great build, and display piece. Mine is getting a custom Blue Oyster Cult paint job.

Really impressive kit by lindberg who really deserves much praise
Not only was this kit easy to assemble but the simple fact that every hatch and rudder as well as the landing gear actually functions is really impressive, there was quite a bit of flash but the detail made it more than worth it, only con I can see with this kit is the fact there is no painting guide for the kit.
