A fun yet challenging game!
I'm super stoked to have the second version of this game! I was given the original one a few years ago as a gift and couldn't help myself when I saw this one. Since there are no reviews I figured it'd also be a great opportunity to let people know how fun it is. You fold each sheet of paper to make one side black and one side white- simple at first, but more and more challenging as you go!! Definitely an awesome little brain game.

incredibly fun puzzle game
Told myself I'd solve one puzzle per day but I can't stop myself from moving on to the next after solving one. A ton of fun, and I love how the early levels teach you the tricks you'll need to solve the harder ones later. I'm only at puzzle 20 or so and it requires a good amount of thought to solve each puzzle now.

Challenging fun
So far, a bit more challenging than the Foldology pictures. There have been several times I've copied the sheet in working on, and used the copy to figure out the puzzle because the paper does get fragile with over work. I like the grid on the paper. Sad I missed out on the first set, looking forward to a third.

Wonderful idea, poor execution
After playing through all of the competitor's puzzles (Foldology) I needed more, so I bought these. While the idea behind both is the same, I just couldn't get into these. For one, the paper quality is not suitable for repeated foldings. I found it cracked and was too thick to get the precision needed once it was more than 2 layers thick. The other issue I had was the size. The puzzles are too small, requiring precision with the folding that the paper doesn't allow. I really wanted to like these, I had so much fun with the "others". I just feel that a little prototyping/testing of their product could have helped make it a little more user-friendly.

So happy for Manifold 2!
Someone gave my 10 year old Manifold 6 years ago. He did not take to it but I did and reordered every winter since then for my fireplace relaxation time. I was heartbroken when they discontinued it.Recently found 2nd and ordered immediately. It’s 9X9 instead of 8X8 so it’s taking a bit of getting used to since I’ve literally folded 600 sheets over the years. So happy to have a new different challenge here.As someone said, it’s a stack of sheets like a sticky note pad and the puzzle is not for everyone, but you won’t really know until you try. You can always pass it on to your logic brain friend to try.
