San Diego Motorsports 100 Racing Years (Top Bound): A Johnny McDonald Collection Authored by Johnny McDonald

I gave it a ‘3’ – it’s OK, not great. There are far better books describing racing in SoCal during the early days. Decent coverage on the dirt tracks and El Cajon but not so much on sports car racing which is sad considering the big names and wonderful cars that raced there.

If you have lived in San Diego all your life and were in the car Sean, this is one book that you will have to have in your library. It's a who's who with all types of racing from the very early days in San Diego and San Diego county.

My husband loved it.

Fun to read. Interesting history and the author fills in the people and events that I've heard about over the years
