Effective
Definitely much better than the standard aluminum products. I used it for my dryer and I can tell that it’s insulated. When I had the standard aluminum I could feel the heat emitting from the dryer; not anymore with this product.

Extremely Durable!
The hose is as described. I would like to add, however, that I bought the product for use in my vehicle in my dash. With that said, it is extremely strong, and also heavy duty. As much as I wanted for it to work, it will not. Even though my ducting is 3", this is just a little too small, it won't stretch around the ducts. Almost any other vent hose would have tore had I put it through what I put this stuff through. I am currently using it, but sadly, it won't be permanent. I'll get more in the next size up.

nice product
Using it to duct a diesel heater up to a roof top tent, works well, does not seem to be affected by the heat

Perfect for crawlspace ventilation
I used this for under the house and it works just as it should. It’s a ventilation hose, can’t expect much

Strong chemical off-gassing
The PVC outer layer of this duct hose produces a very strong chemical odor when it gets warm. I can't say whether or not it's safe to breath, but it certainly smells toxic enough to me that I definitely don't want to take the chance. I'm using this product to vent a small portable air conditioner (which is not the source of the smell, as proven by using a different hose), to give you an idea of the amount of heat I subjected it to before quickly removing it after the room was filled with the aforementioned odor. On the theory that there might just be a leftover chemical residue on it, I tried rinsing the outer layer of the hose and leaving it outside for several days to air out, but the toxic smell remains. The product was otherwise as advertised, but this aspect makes it unsuitable for indoor use in my opinion.

Okay product does what is designed for
I use it to duct the hot air from a diesel heater. It seems to work well but is a bit too flexible when it gets hot.

Other uses
I used this as a cold air intake for my pellet stove.I could confirm it to exactly what I needed and didn't have to cut it.
