This device has been a blessing. My mom has Parkinson’s disease and uses many adaptive devices to help her get around. This is one of my top picks. I didn’t want anything with legs for fear of her tripping so when I saw this I knew it would be perfect. It stays in place and rail width is adjustable. A well worth investment for anyone needing assistance with toileting. Super easy to install, too.

There are quite a lot of form factors for the idea of adding grab bars to a toilet, but this seemed the least intrusive. We have a standard size American toilet with the toilet kind of tucked away between a wall and a cabinet so there isn’t much room for the variety that stands on the floor. My only concern was how sturdy the rails would be, but they are extremely sturdy. They attach to the bowl using the same screws as attach the seat, the base of the rails sitting on the bowl under the seat mount. I actually purchased some stainless steel bolts in case the plastic type bolts that are pretty standard with American toilet seats turned out to be too flimsy seeming. I didn’t use the stainless steel bolts because the standard plastic bolts secured everything with a tight grip and no play in the attachment. We’ve found the rails very secure and helpful for accessing the toilet, without getting in the way at all. The adjustable width between the rails allowed us to customize the fit for comfortable sitting and standing up. The overall construction quality is high, and the installation took maybe ten minutes. If I needed another one, I’d buy this one again, which I guess sums things up nicely.

When installed CORRECTLY, this thing is amazing, extremely helpful, sturdy, and everything I was looking for. HOWEVER, installation instructions that come with this are NOT correct and the manufacturer should change that immediately.Every single bad review with a photo shows this device installed incorrectly.I removed one star because of the incorrect instructions and this could cause serious incident.

Easy to install, clean and looks good. Works perfectly for anyone that needs a little help getting up from the toilet. Does not interfere with the usage of the toilet and easy to clean around.

After read9ng reviews, I opted for this safety rail for my 97 year old mom. She recently changed apartments in assisted living and I noticed she was using the toilet paper holder to help herself get off the commode. There was not a hand rail close enough for her since she is extremely tiny. I did not want the toilet paper dispenser to give way and her topple on her head so I looked for a solution. this is easy to assemble and has somewhat adjustable width. Mom likes it and says it makes getting on and off the commode so much easier for her. Thats what life is about these days...making sure she is safe and comfortable. This is sturdy and unobtrusive too.

I ordered and came the next day. Easy to install and very steady. I bought it for my mother that recently had a total knee replacement. She is able to seat and get up with no problem. She is so grateful. I recommend to buy.
