They are like the original. Which means they fit well and are just as durable as the first one. Because I have one bowl and had to buy four, I will not have to buy another one.

Bought these covers for my 4 cup glass storage bowls. The lids don't last as long a the glass bowls. Lids fit the original bowl perfectly. Better than replacing bowl and lid. I would recommend to others.

I'm ordering again! Husband-approved for microwave-lunches every day.My husband microwaves his lunch with these laying loosely on top every day (for steam-moisture.) The original lids deformed quickly. When he forgot to loosen the old lid one time it melted and warped to the point that it was unusable. He has not forgotten to remove any of these yet, but he says they are thicker and more rigid than the original. However, I doubt any flexible lid could stand up to microwaved hot glass, so I'm not expecting that. They've held up great in the bottom rack of the dish washer on high-heat-cycle (not heat-dried though.) No warping so far.We haven't tasted any plastic chemicals in the food that touches the open lids while microwaving so I am assuming they don't leach into it.I like the color variety. I bought each size in its own color so they're quicker to grab from the cabinet. The colors would be handy for organization or classification too.We simply store them on their sides, beside the stack of glass bowls. We use no other lids or storage containers to keep things organized and simple. We use Pyrex glass bowls because they are environment-friendly, and there is no risk of contaminating food with chemicals, even when heating. These lids are not environment-friendly but it's a small sacrifice that prevents using hundreds of temporary plastic containers.The two things I don't like about glass bowls as apposed to plastic are: 1) They get very hot in the microwave and require careful removal with pot holders. It's also hard to eat on the couch/lap when they're hot. But the same goes for ceramic mugs. 2) They break periodically and the large glass pieces are the most dangerous, sharp type of glass shards. You don't even feel the cut -- and you WILL get cut, no matter how careful you are when touching. Failing to clean just one piece ends in blood all over the house. Don't touch them. Don't blow on them. Don't even make eye contact with them. Approach them cautiously, sneaking up behind them with a broom or spatula. :-) All that said, I wouldn't use Pyrex bowls in the house with young children, honestly.

I bought them BECAUSE they had the 4 cup marker on the lids. It was after I rec'd them without that I read the 1 star reviews and pyrex, large P, is for that made in France, rare here in the US, but mine can still go in the oven, microwave and freezer with the little p. The lids that come with the pyrex glass set get weak and loose over time. I tried all 4 lids on my 4 cup bowls and they fit perfectly and are snug, even a bit more than my old ones. I only needed two, so if they get over heated in the microwave (can't set lid directly on top of whatever you're heating, must be skewed slightly) I will have spares that I tested and I know fit.

These lids are great. They fit my Pyrex glass storage containers perfectly.

On the Amazon site, it was written that there were 4 units and I received only 1. At this price (17$), It would be too expensive for only one lid.

I hate to buy a whole new set of containers just because my plastic lids have cracked or gotten lost (even though it costs the same). I wanted genuine Pyrex lids because I know they fit tighter and are more durable than the knock-offs. I actually replaced the lids on my Anchor-brand glass containers (which always crack) with these too. They fit perfect, and they haven't cracked yet after 2 years I've had them, almost always washing them in the dishwasher.
