Outstanding Vintage Edison Bulb

Compliments a vintage design out door wall lantern extremely well
Firstly this pack of Two bulbs arrived extremely well packaged from the seller. I have a 1760's cottage & these bulbs look really effective in a vintage style outdoor wall lantern that I purchased for the front door. I originally inserted a 6w LED bulb which did not look right at all either during daylight hours or at night when illuminated. The slightly Amber colour of the filament during daylight & night time glow to this bulb when switched on is very pleasant & certainly more than bright enough. BE WARNED = certainly not a criticism but be very aware that these bulbs are slightly longer than normal bulbs, they have a small glass ball protruding on the base of the bulb resulting in my having to drill a 30mm hole using a tank cutter in the Perspex shade base (luckily for me not a glass enclosed shade) to accept the ball at the base of the bulb. However all in all extremely pleased with the overall effect, & of course being only 6w power consumption is an added bonus.

Does the job.
They do fit well into the lamp I brought and work but unfortunately they are really really bright so you can’t see how nice the bulb is, it’s a shame, but it is definitely a light.
