This collar is super effective and already helping to stop undesirable behaviors.Our 1-year-old dog Luna is very sweet but whenever the neighbor dog starts barking on the other side of the wall, she goes berserk and literally hangs over the wall halfway in our neighbor's yard barking like mad. Obviously this is a very concerning behavior and nothing else we were trying was working. Within a couple days of use (under careful and active observation) she has nearly stopped doing that.So far the battery life is great, it has a good range, and we love the options of sound, vibration, or shock. There is quite a range of shock strength to choose from. PLEASE TEST THE SHOCK STRENGTH ON YOURSELF BEFORE USING IT ON YOUR DOG. This collar is capable of very high intensity shock.Impressively, the remote is very durable. Our dog is a chewer and got a hold of the remote overnight. As you can tell from the picture, she was only able to do a bit of cosmetic damage and the remote still works perfectly.WOULD RECOMMEND! We actually bought a second one for our other dog.

My personal experience was dealing with Snow Dogs they were a great seller providing after the sale assistance. Now the product.. i originally bought a single collar setup for my dog that wanders freely on several acres partially wooded and not all visible from back of house. A litter of puppies later ( too bad I didn't have a collar on Baby Daddy from up the street I would have set it to backflip mode) and a roadside rescue I came back and bought the 2 collar set.The beep or tone signal is great so you can locate a dog audibly when they can't be seen or are being stubborn and not returning to the alert. Vibrate works perfectly for getting attention and detering actions. Then shock of course does what it says. The battery power seems fine but the effect of dogs wrestling there teeth can and do turn off collars. The collars are adjustable which is a good thing. My suggestion is to size it to your dog and trim off the excess and melt the ends to prevent fraying. When you don't and if the excess is long enough it now becomes a tug of war collar which can turn into let me free you from "The Man" where the one dog will completely chew the entire collar off the other.Moral of the story is, the collars work good. In my experience the range is around 600 ft we have lots of trees. The new set worked on the old sets remote and vice versa you can have up to 4 collars on one remote. These hold up to my 3 very intense dogs and appear to be water resistant. And after a jail break that rendered one collar completely ruined and the receiver itself partially destroyed. Collars can not be removed from receiver, the collar is actually built into the receiver itself. Snow dogs took care of me thats all you could ask for!

Works great, good price, have had ours for a long time. Durable. Easy to charges, charges relatively quickly. Perfect for noise or shock training.

We have a 90 lbs schnauzer, and the collar worked well. The shock can be controlled, and it can REALLY SHOCK if you turn it up high. TEST IT ON YOURSELF FIRST before shocking your dog. The remote is large and does not always fit in a pocket well. the collar is adjustable, and the battery life was long; we only needed to charge it twice.Unfortunately, it completely died a month after purchase. Also, we found the remote's responsiveness had a long lag, about 3 seconds, which can be too long if you are trying to correct behaviors in the moment. We will try another brand of collar for the next purchase.

I got this collar because we are fostering a dog with this brand of collar. I liked it so much that I bought my dog the same one, and now they're both programmed in to the same remote. It has a great range, which gets tested periodically on my property, as my dog is fairly obedient, but super fast. If she gets out of visual or auditory range, I just use the vibrate or sound function, and she usually comes back. Very infrequently do I need to resort to a shock, but I'm glad for the option, especially if there are large mountain critters in the vicinity. The only drawback is that it takes several seconds to switch between dogs, so if you don't have the remote on the appropriate dog when they need an alert, you can't hit them with a tone/vibration/shock immediately. But for training purposes, it works great. Really long battery life and quick charging also.

Buying an e-collar was the last resort for us. We’ve tried a dog trainer, sound remote, lots of exercise, training at home, dog toys that were supposed to survive monster chewers, stimulation toys, and anxiety meds that our vet prescribed. We were losing our minds because our dog wouldn't settle down (to put it mildly). We bought the remote months ago and it actually helped a lot with her outbursts (not a bad dog just would get way too crazy) and it’s already stopped working. The remote charges fine but no matter how much I charge the collar the battery remains dead. Another VERY important thing to know! The shock is higher than you expect. I thought since the collar went up to 99 levels that the shock was really weak. Nope. If you still decide to buy this collar after reading all the negative reviews, and you feel you have to use the shock PLEASE keep it VERY low and test it on yourself first. The sound and vibration function should be enough to deter unwanted behavior. But if you feel it’s still ineffective and need a quick little zap, AGAIN, PLEASE KEEP THE LEVEL LOW! Our dog has settled a lot more since needing it but I wanted to warn any other potential buyers. I don’t recommend spending your money on this. Do your homework and please read the negative reviews, not just the positive.

I’ve had this brand growing up with my family dogs so I of course had to order my own. It works so well. We usually only use the beep noise and that is enough for my dogs to stop whatever bad behavior. Occasionally the vibration settings if the beep doesn’t work but I’ve never needed to use the shock since the beep/vibrate work so well to get my boys attention! Super easy to use and haven’t had any issues. These are also SO sturdy, my two boys play really rough and these collars are soooo strong!
