Really Soft, Lightweight, Packs Down Small
I've been looking at swapping to a top quilt for camping for a while now.I toss and turn a lot, and sleep on my side, so mummy bags and small sleeping bags are no use.Normally that leads me to taking larger, heavier bags for comfort.I decided on the OneTigris Down Camping Blanket (1 Person version) as I prefer down to synthetic, and have a couple of OneTigris items (Tent footprint/groundsheet and Rockdomus hot tent) which I've found to be great quality.I took this out at the weekend in changeable conditions to use in a hammock with a air mattress in (Lay flatter so side sleep is possible in a hammock) and after a lot of deliberation, decided not to take a back up sleeping bag or my under quilt. The night temperatures ranged from 5 degrees C to 13 degrees CI was really happy with the performance, even when the wind picked up, I didn't feel it through the quilt at all. It was large enough that I could tuck one side down the airbed and have one side loose and still had some to spare. I wasn't cold once, and on the second night, when it was 13c I was a little too warm for a while. Really, really happy with it.Just a note, as with any down, get the bag out as soon as you can, not just before bed, give it a good shaking and get the lofting plumped up and you'll have no issues. This was stuffed in a British Army burgen side pouch and took up less than half the space when pushed right down tight.Thinking of getting the 2 person version to use with this one in the winter now.

Decent piece of gear.
I’ve bought One Tigris outdoor and tactical gear before and I like the brand. It’s generally good quality for the price points. In the case of this item I have to say I think that that point is a tad high (at the £109 I paid for this double sized camping blanket).Don’t get me wrong - it’s good kit, but it took forever to fluff out for maximum strength of insulation and while it is indeed super lightweight for carrying, that I feel compromised the heat retaining property somewhat. That all said I’m using it indoors at a mates place for the purposes of dossing, so I’ve yet to test the water repellent properties as advertised.I recommend this item and don’t regret the purchase at all, I just think it’s a tad in the pricey side for what it is and wouldn’t have minded a bit more weight as a trade off for more warmth.

Light and really warm
I was really sceptical when I got this but have tried it now down to just below double figures Celsius and I didn’t need anything else. Granted I am a warm sleeper but I also don’t like being cold and this did the trick nicely. Much preferred to a sleeping bag as I like to be able to kick off a duvet.

warm enough for summer
Did me proud on our trip to France this summer. Much prefer it to a sleeping bag

Worth it for the price
The blanket is quite lightweight, Packs down relatively small, Puffs up well for 300grams of 600 Fill power, slept in it down to 12 Celsius, I don’t think I’d want to take it any lower than that, it was just about sufficient for me at that temperature.Instead of the poncho style buttons I would have preferred if they had installed foot box buttons, as the blanket is quite light you have to fold the blanket under you to stop the drafts.Overall the stitching is very good, I’ve noticed a few bits of down/feathers come out on the first day, another thing is that some of the baffles are not evenly filled.Good blanket for the price, comfortable to use at home indoors and summer camping, definitely worth the price.

Basic
I own a lot of One Tigris products and they’re all superb…this one, not so impressive. Worn as a poncho for sitting around on a summer evening, it’s ideal. For comfortable sleeping, it’s next to useless in all but the warmest weather. I used mine in Scotland with night temperatures of 12 degrees and I was freezing. The blanket is extremely thin and offers very little in the way of insulation. It is light though and packs down very small. The material is also soft and comfortable.I’ll be keeping mine because it will come in handy, but for camping, I’ll stick to my One Tigris quilt or sleeping bag.

Absolutely fantastic
Absolutely fantastic product, I was going to buy the single version but the Mrs convinced me to get the double, I think this became hers as soon as I paid for it. Highly recommend.
