Q: This is the 395 nm light as the title says correct? Why is it talking about being the superior 365 nm light when the title says it’s not?

365nm refers to solidly in the UVA wavelength which means its below the threshold for the human eye to detect. objects also fluoresce most strongly at 365nm which mean that in a pitch black room and say a uv poster all you would see is the poster fluorescing with minimal to no illumination of other objects hence superior for purposes of just causing things to glow. the vast majority of the light energy produced is UV vs visible light aka the purplish light on 395nm black lights. 395nm lights are still in the uv wavelenght however they are right on the cusp of visible light which is >400nm this means that those lights while they produce some uv output they are also generating violet light hence the purple light you usually see with them. since they generate less UV light fluorescent object will glow less brilliantly and there will be a purplish cast on everything. the simple answer is this if i am in a pitch black room holding a uv poster under 365nm light all you would see is the poster glowing, under a 395nm light you would see the poster glow less brilliantly and you would also see me holding it and i would have a purplish appearance/glow.

Q: how long should (2) 50watt 365m place opposite sides of a small object glued with Loctite UV cure?

I use a chamber with reflective walls and 2x365LED arrays for curing. It is really hard to reach all sides and angles and having walls that mirror the light greatly increases availability of the light. Keep in mind that the glue is opaque for 365nm light - so if your glue layer is 20 micron thick, I reached cure times below 10 seconds but a thick 300 micron coat would only solidify in 3-5 minutes. You need to probe this for your setup - put a layer of glue on a dark & hard - say plastic object - and cure it for 10s. Then try to scratch it with a toothpick. If it deforms repeat the curing and scratching until it is hard. This gives you the exposure time for that direction and coat thickness. Shiny objects will cure a bit faster. If you glue objects together, make sure that one is either transparent for 365nm light or that you allow for enough curing time to reach all of the glue,

I don’t see why you couldn’t use it inside, but depending on the area you want to light up you may need more than one. I’d say it effectively lights up a 10 foot area

Q: will this work to cure alumilite alumi uv clear resin?

Yes this light will its 365nm best for uv glue and resin The closer the light is to the object the better the results will be.
