Works well, but fraying some after just a few months.

We purchased this leash for our Bernedoodle puppy (currently 50 lbs). Despite having been trained, our dog at 8 months still has the tendency to lunge at our cat in the yard. The leash tore at the handle and our dog took off. Had this been on the street or in another public place with high traffic, things could have been much worse. I was able to tie a knot on the end but this shortened up the leash to a length that was too short. I would suggest purchasing a more durable leash if you have a larger dog that will put a significant amount of tension on the leash .

This leash is actually really well made. I had bought a slip leash from another manufacturer and within the first day my dog had pulled in it and the whole thing had fallen apart. I have a very strong Labrabull and who pulls and she has not been able to pull a hair out of place in this leash.With that being said and definitely no issues with quality please be aware that if your dog pulls too much this leash might not be for them. We stopped using it because it feels like we are choking her to death when she tries to take off. We have switched to a martingale collar for now as we are working on her training. If you dog is easy going and won't try to chase every squirrel she sees then this is a very nice product.

These leashes are amazing. Our friends and the shelter we adopt our pets from use them. Unfortunately we received the wrong order at first but they were quick to send us the correct order at no charge. I highly recommend buying this product especially from a company as caring as this one.

This is a great lead for correction training. The rope quality is good and the fastenings are stylish and strong. My trainer recommended I get a thin slip lead to provide a sharper correction. My dog is very sensitive, so I chose to use this over the thinner leash I also purchased (Mendota Products Small Slip Solid Dog Lead 3/8” x 6’, which I also recommend). The lead is not thin but I also wouldn’t call it thick; I’ve seen much thicker ones. It’s about the size of my (size 8) ring finger. My dog is medium (a svelte 47 pounds) and it fits her nicely. This would be too heavy for dogs under 15 pounds and I can’t attest to the strength of it for heavier dogs or strong pullers.

I bought this leash because the animal shelter I volunteer at only uses these types of leashes. It works great and gives great control of dogs. It's also really easy to slip on a dog that's eager to go on a walk (works basically like a lasso). We also foster dogs through an animal rescue, and they also recommend this type of leash. It works great and easy to use.

It's sturdy I work with dogs outdoors of all shapes and sizes and this leash can handle it gets dragged wet it gets pulled on I even used it to snap a tree branch and get a friz-b downIt's my go to leash it's worth the buy I highly recommend

Being a dog owner of over 20 years we have been through a lot of leashes. This is bar far the best leash we have ever bought. We have beagles and they are obviously trackers. On walks they tend to pull thus us training with this style of slip leash.The leash is a nice thick woven nylon. It is nice and reinforced with stitching around each loop (hand and metal ring) so it holds up over time (We had a similar cheaper made one that ripped in both spots after a few months.) We have used the leash since June 2015 and they have held up so well with heavy usage. The leashes clean easily if and don't retain smell. Overall just really impressed with the quality here.Like many others I am extremely satisfied and would highly recommend this leash.

Soft enough that it doesn't bother the dogs yet firm enough that it releases immediately when the dog stops pulling. Lovely colour, the stopper is easy to move yet won't slip from where I position it for a secure fit.No gadgets needed, just a proper slip lead and some calm patience.Great fit for Whippet, Saluki and Airedale Terrier.

This is an amazing training leash! It does not hurt my dog in any way! Really well worth it! I bought it for my new puppy and although you can adjust the size it is a little too thick for puppy. So until she grows in to it I thought I would try it out on my senior cockapoo. I will never go back to a regular leash! He walked beside me with a loose leash the entire time! It really is a good product! I'll be getting another one for my puppy!

Good thick rope. Sturdy construction. I used it with my large foster dog who had never been on a leash before. Easier than trying to get a collar on and then clip a lead.

We have been trying to train our puppy to poo and pee outside..it was a lot of work to get his prong collar on every time so we decided to get him this after his trainer recommended it and we could quickly throw it on and step outside when it's really early in the am or late at night

This leash is fantastic. Soft and very durable. We are training our 13 week old American Bully and this leash has her very responsive, it’s lightweight and looks very nice with the braided silk look. The leather features are quality made too!! This leash will be with us for a while!
