ESC’s are working perfectly

I have these in three of my planes and they work very well. Just keep them in the airstream and they run cool. No problems found.

I bought this and the listed programmer, to try to turn the motor speed down (I'm using it to power a rebuilt vintage blender...). Lowest speed was still about 2x what I'd wanted (note this is with belt/gear reduction already). Since BLDCs can have arbitrary speeds, not sure why there isn't a special "crawler" mode or something to this controller.For my application, I also found the cables too long, but of course that's easily rectified, and much better than too short!It's great that it provides 5.5V out, which allows me to power both the controller and the light show without requiring a separate regulator.

Delivery was quick and was easy to access the manual via the grid code. Initial hook up on a used older plane went well and seems to work well in the shop. Still have more mods to do on plane and winter to pass to get the real test. But so far so good. Happy with purchase so far.

So I purchased this ESC out of pure desperation. The name brand ESC I had fried immediately after I plugged it in. I had to have an operating ESC and quickly to continue the project. None of my LHS had this size in stock. I received the packaged the next day!!! Super impressed by that. The airplane I installed it in has logged 4 flights, and the ESC is still working perfectly. A bit of warning, no instructions come with the ESC. BUT the vendor for this ESC was kind enough to have a PDF download (Thank you for that) of the instruction manual in the description of the product listing. I would not be afraid to purchase this ESC again, if another opportunity arose.

Good old basic speed controller. Works fine right out of the package.

Emailed the company after the esc would start up a motor with no load and then stop after about a second and a half, got no response. sat around for a while, went to test it with an edf because I only had a 15 amp esc on it that would get too warm (I use it as a normal fan, not for rc). It seemed to run fine. I had it on 12v at whatever throttle net about 15 amps of draw to compare. To my surprise, the heatsink didn't seem to get warm, granted it is indoors in an air conditioned space and the esc is blown on by the edf which is an extreme amount of air. I walked away and not even a minute later I heard it slowing down so I ran back and the capacitors were all swollen and you could smell melting plastic and they were about to pop. seems like it had the potential to be a decent esc but the cheap chinese capacitors held it back
