It really is incredible the effort of work put into this volume
This is a family gathering of information, history, and study - very well explained recipes that can be tricky to get across to students and yet the authors have accomplished this very well - well done!

Amazing instructions, stories, recipes, photos
I had been making wok’s of life leftover turkey congee for a few years and saw they had a cookbook. I made a few dishes and wow! I got my kids to eat the entire meal I cooked including vegetables. They even helped to cook. The key is to read all techniques about heating up the wok on high before adding oil, and how to correctly velvet the meat (on their website). The cookbook has additional recipes not on the website. This photo is the black pepper beef. Delicious! I’d never made such tender beef before. I also enjoyed reading about their family and how they got into cooking. Thank you!

A brilliant book lovely recipes, photos and history of the family dishes. I really recommend it.

Lovely book, shame for the printing issue
I was very excited to use this book as I've been a fan of the blog. Unfortunately I quickly saw this barely legible page, and it's not the only one. I hope I just got a faulty one, will reorder and see if it's the case.

Ein Muss für Freunde chinesischer Kochkunst
nachdem ich web site der Autoren seit Jahren besuche, war es für mich nicht überraschend, dass das Buch meine Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Um es immer griffbereit zu haben, habe ich die Kindle Edition gleich noch mitbestellt. Übrigens ist das Buch in den USA jetzt, also 2023 für den James Beard Award nominiert; der Preis wird am 05. Mai 23 verliehen - ich wünsche den Autoren von Herzen, dass sie geehrt werden!
