I have used the DEWALT 20V MAX Cordless Impact Wrench, 1/2" Hog Ring for car maintenance and various tasks around the home, and it has consistently exceeded my expectations. Its compact design and reliable performance make it a go-to tool for any job. I purchased the bare tool and added a DEWALT battery, which was convenient since I already own other tools in the DEWALT 20V lineup. I needed something strong and reliable for work that also didn’t break the bank, I’m a tire tech so I needed something that could fit in smaller spaces but also have high torque. This thing is a beast, everything from 7/8th lugs to little 17mm this thing handles em no problem. When paired with the 20v 5ah battery this thing is a beast and still has 2 bars of battery after a 9 hour shift of constantly taking lugs on and off. The smart mode as I call it is perfect for working on expensive rims as it stops the gun as soon as the lug breaks loose then u have to press the trigger again for it to fully come off, definitely helps with run off on expensive rims. Mode 1 tightens to 100ft/p. I’ve tested it with a torque wrench after and it works perfectly. Mode one is nice for putting on tires as it won’t overtighten them no matter how long you hold the trigger. If your someone who uses 1 or 2 different sockets the pin is the way to go but as a tech who can use 10 different sockets a day the hog ring was the way to go for me as it makes switching out the sockets super easy. If you need a strong impact that will handle almost anything you throw at it this thing is the way to go, pair it up with the 20v 5ah and ur set for almost anything that’s under 1000ft/p.

What a great tool, it’s super powerful and just works. It’s been shown on the Torque Test Channel on YouTube to be the most powerful mid torque impact wrench, even over Milwaukee. The batteries can easily last all day using it, and zips off things like lug nuts and suspension bolts like it’s nobody’s business. Makes rusty bolts so much easier than struggling with a breaker bar
