Speakers are better than advertised, handles wow, D3, Hots, and even overwatch no problems at all! I'm happy.
I got this to play wow, diablo 3, and overwatch on. And it does great even on max settings it is good! Maybe not the best on the high end graphics, but I'm really happy with it. I read a review saying the sound was bad, but I think it's just fine, also there was a review or two showing the hinges busted, it is a little scary feeling, but three weeks in and it seems fine. I really do worry about the hinges, but everything else is great and if your not constantly closing and opening this like I am then the hinges won't be an issue. To be clear about the hinge there is only one very small less than one inch connection on each side that holds the screen on to the base. it does feel like you could break that small bit easily if you aren't careful. If it helps I"ll say it again it handles the blizzard titles pretty well even on the higher graphics.. hots has some pop in on the highest graphics and it is very noticeable, but just a step or two down fro max and it's great. and the sound is good, not the richest sounds, but it is great for a gaming laptop at this price point. ... the hinge is fine for me so far constantly closing/opening it everytime I use the laptop, which is twice a day at least everyday for nearly 4 weeks now. My only concern is the hinge. If your going to leave this open then ... yeah this is great!

Over all it is a great laptop and performance is great
Over all it is a great laptop and performance is great. Fortnight upped on every aspect in the graphics settings and it doesn't have a hiccup. minor complaint is the battery life and the weight [it is pretty heavy] The general look is appealing and doesnt like like the average gaming laptop [no flairs and colors everywhere] this sublimity gives it more beauty Love it

Perfectfor APEX LEGENDS!
I bought this specifically to play apex legends. I was sure it was capable of running the game, however I didn’t know how well. Great news! It runs it amazing at high settings across the board. I’ve played COD BO4 an Overwatch too, both run very well for a cheap gaming laptop. The 250gb ssd is too small for gaming though an I will be immediately upgrading to more storage. COD itself took 110gb!!! I can’t say enough good things about this laptop. For the price it’s an incredible product an definitely worth a purchase for anyone looking to play your favorite games on PC!

Affordable Gaming Laptop
I e had this computer for over a year now, and I have yet to have a single issue. It runs everything I have tried on it it with no issues. Horizon Zero Dawn is smoothly playable on it, just not on the highest settings. I’ve also put hundred of hours of my life into Elite Dangerous and Destiny 2 with no issues. The ONLY downside is the size of the internal Harddrive. You can easily fix that problem by installing a second, which there is space for.

Great performance for the price!
Great performance for the price! Screen is a little annoying as it has a dark tinge which off puts color and light.

Excellent system. Not high-end but can run most of the recent games in high (Destiny 2, Killer Instinct and GTA tested at this point). Good entry-level gaming laptop, hdd and ram upgrade recommended to obtain the best of the equipment.

I purchased this laptop mainly for gaming purposes as I get very bored in my spare time when I'm not studying. The laptop performs better than I had initially anticipated. I am able to run newer games on High / Ultra specs without any problems in FPS drops or any other external / internal problems which may affect gameplay. STORAGE: The one and only problem I had with this laptop was the storage space. Downloading a 70 GB game like GTA V with the 256 GB storage provided is not very efficient, especially considering this is a gaming laptop and customers are likely to download games which usually are large in file size.. The storage runs out fast when you download only a few games. However, this was not a problem for me as I keep most of my games on my 1 TB external hard drive, which again may not be the case for many of you. So please do take that into consideration. COOL BOOST: The Acer Coolboost application is designed to improve system cooling by increasing the fan speed during heavy use. This laptop has had some bad reviews in regards to the heating problems because of the way the fans are positioned inside. I must say, after running heavy games like GTA V for a consistent 3+ hours I've experienced no heating problems to the level of degree which is stated by others. The Coolboost feature comes in handy whenever I download and (or) run large games on hot days. PACKAGING: Nothing too fancy, comes in a nice black box and is packaged with a lot of paper and cardboard to keep this beast of a machine protected. BATTERY: Battery life on this is approximate 4-5 hours while web surfing. It has around 3 hours of life while gaming with high brightness. QUIET KEYBOARDS: Although this may be something most gamers do not want, I personally love the quiet keyboard. Whether I'm typing up an essay for class or fighting a double-pumping John Wick, this quietness of this keyboard is amazing. I get it, a lot of you may want that "clicky" sound when using the keys, my only question is - why? DISPLAY: I personally found the display of the screen not bright enough, even with my brightness turned all the way up. It was no problem however, as I was easily able to increase the brightness more through the "Intel HD Graphics Control Panel". I turned up the saturation as well and my gaming experience was enhanced by 10x more. The graphics the GeForce 1050 has to provide is unbelievable. DUAL FAN: Again, positioning of the fans are not the best, however, I experience no heating problems while gaming on applications such as GTA V for 3+ hours. After a while, sure the laptop gets a bit warm, anything to complain about though? No. GAMES: I've played many games such as a few of the following: - Fortnite (High / Ultra specs): 80 - 100 FPS - GTA V (High specs) with enhanced graphic mods: 60 - 90 FPS - CSGO (High specs): 120 - 140 FPS - Insurgency (Very high specs): 80 - 100 FPS - Paladins (High specs): 80 - 100 FPS - Rainbow Six Siege (High specs): 90 - 125 FPS and many more... This laptop is very well capable of running all the latest games out to-date with high to ultra specs. You can forget about the low & medium specs we all once used to use. OVERALL: I saved up enough money to make this purchase from my old Acer laptop which had an Intel HD Graphics card. Boy oh boy, I've been told countless times to just forget about purchasing a gaming laptop and spend my money trying to build a PC instead. However, being the University student I am who studies overseas, I needed something portable which would meet my academic and gaming needs. This laptop does just that. I no longer have to worry about running games on low specs just to get a higher frame rate. So with all that being said, I'm HIGHLY satisfied with my purchase. If you have any questions please let me know!

Awesome laptop, have been using it solidly since I got it. Gaming is great, can play on high quality or better settings. The fans don't get terribly loud and the screen is clear too. Definitely a great laptop for gaming and programming, although I suggest adding a secondary drive to the empty bay (which there is inside the laptop, easy to do, one screw) because the 250gb SSD installed can fill up pretty quickly. Battery life is alright, lasts ~ 3 hours doing everyday internet things. Keyboard feels great. Slight issue where the bottom left trackpad on mine gets a little sticky, can fix with a small amount of percussive maintenance. Overall, I'd suggest getting it if you're looking for a solid laptop.

This computer is insanely awesome. It came in on time the delivery Lady, put it up against my door so i could not open my door and i needed to go through the garage to get it. But other then that the setup is easy, it is a awesome looking laptop, The first gam i got was fortnite i have my setting to ultra view distance, max 3d resolution, high textures, medium shadow, vsync off anti alising medium, effects high, and post processing low, and i get an average of 90-100 fps when i play. The Second Game i have downloaded is State of decay 2. when it finished downloading it gave me a message saying that this laptop may not be able to support this game, but i just clicked ignore. I let the game choose what setting i played at and when i got into the game all the textures and effects looked amazing i later went into settings and everything was on high then i change the textures to ultra and i was getting no lag and no nothing still. I am very impressed with this laptop and happy that it can run modern games on high settings with high fps. I very recommend if you are looking for a budget gaming laptop.

It's not 4k so I wouldn't rate it perfectly. I knew it wasn't 4k but the price I paid was(before taxes) just shy of $1000. I wish it would've had 4k functionality to play some older games in 4k that have that option and I wouldn't be worried about using my xbox then to play those types of games(like Fallout 3). The price is a bit high in my honest opinion. Sure gaming laptops are probably cheaper now since my purchase and first use of this laptop but that's exactly why I feel it could've been a bit cheaper upon purchasing. Overall 1080p works great. I didn't know it wouldn't come with a dvd/cd drive to use cds and dvds which was a bummer. It you're okay with purchasing the external dvd/cd drive or just getting everything on digital platforms for this laptop then don't shy away just yet. It plays older games on the ultra setting very smoothly. Games like fallout new vegas and metal gear solid v. Last game that was new I tried on it was Black ops 4 and Fallout 76 and they run alright. In fallout 76 I didn't notice problems with the graphics and framerate but in black ops 4 you have to play around with the settings of the graphics to get a smooth framerate. Basically ultra will not work smooth enough imo but you can try to get settings which aren't the lowest either. It will play a vast amount of games(so long as you do have access to those games via steam, epic store, etc.) at good settings and I appreciate that this is the case for this laptop. Based on price, overall experience with the laptop, and the gameplay capacity, I give it 4 out of 5 stars. I just wish it had 4k graphics and wish that it would've been cheaper by $150-$220 at purchase.

After owning this computer for 2 months now. I can say this is one of the lowest so called gaming laptops. My 5 year old laptop is faster. This computer takes 8-10 mins to just boot up and be ready to use. Run your favorite games in the lowest settings . Yippie . Not worth the money or trouble. Bought for editing photos and this computer can even run Starcraft in max settings . A ten year old game. Avoid this one
