Very nice mini recorder to have on hand. It's the same size as a USB thumb drive. Have a good weight to it and feels study since it's made out of metal. It's really easy to record. The on off button is on the side. User is able to just plug in headphone to listen to audio. There is a switch for continuous recording or only when it picks up sounds. The battery life seems decent. I only used it for when it picks up sounds and it last me a couple of days. I haven't tried out the battery life when it's continuously recording. On one side there is a little line that flashes red or blue depending if it's charging or when you initially turn in the device. If you plan to use it as a spy device then just put a small duct tape over it. Overall it's a nice useful recorder to have whether it's to spy or just record lectures. Small enough to keep in order or pocket or even on a keychain.

The first impression is impressive for this recorder. Hits all the right notes. Very solidly built and well made. I will definitely be getting another one. Very easy setup. Just click an exec file it comes with and automatically syncs the right date and time with your computer. Love it. The price is fantastic too

Picks up some background noise but gets the job done. Best part is that it doesn’t look like a recording device but a USB device. Favorite part is that it only records when there are voices so it doesn’t waste space. Easy to store and use.

A friend of mine needed help with getting a discreet device to record her partner as she suspects him of having communication with another woman. I know crazy lol . I can confirm this device is very easy to use and its perfect since its voice activated and the battery will last her much longer. Thank you!

This device is great. It records what I want when I want. From a distance as well. And playback is crystal clear. Battery life is great too. Just charge it up and it's good to go for your class filled day. Or if you need long term recording for later just find a seat next to an outlet and record all your hr long lectures. Plus there's tons of memory. I haven't filed mines yet not even close and I recorded a lot. All in all , great product.

There are hours and hours of previously recorded events. Is this product used? I paid for a new device.The date doesn’t refresh as the directions state.And now, a week after the return date has expired, the battery will no longer remain charged.This product is trash.Do not waste your moneyI would appreciate a refund, but all I got was multiple emails requesting that I remove this negative review.

I ordered three of these and encountered the identical issues with all three units. IF you can get the voice activation to actually record, the sound quality and recording range is truly impressive. The problem is that the the VA feature doesn't seem to engage unless you're within a few feet. Also, even though it says in the answered questions that it would work while plugged in, I encountered multiple issues getting it to record while in a USB outlet. I would NOT rely on it to record while plugged in. The battery does seem to last very well.If your needs fall within certain parameters, such as recording a lecture, this unit is an excellent choice. It appears durable, and the sound quality did impress me. However, if you require VA that will activate from more than a couple feet away, this unit will not work for you.

Purchased the recorder a few months ago. Found it very useful, small but heavy and very solid, recording is very clear even from a distance. Playback is also very easy, plug and play on my computer, also can use my plug-in headphones. 64gb will have many, many hours of recording, only one I need, thanks.

Picks up more noise than voices. Also NO English instructions - I contacted the seller twice, just silence ....

I can’t use the device as there are only instructions in Chinese language. Disappointing.
