Q: Can I use any brand of bags?

We used an 8" wide bag roll from an older Food Saver machine that worked fine. Anova cites the following data as important about the bags it offers: --Heat Range: -20°—99° C (-4°—210° F) --Material: 2 layers LDPE plastics with 1% prodegradant additive & 1 layer PA/Nylon BPA free

Q: If i seal hamburger do i need to freeze it first so juices dont run out?

I use this sealer a couple of times a week. If wet - make sure u select the moist and then I always use the impulse to seal. U can also put a paper towel before the seal. Paper towel won't be very pretty but it works. Sometimes I do this with fresh fish. Hope this helps.

Q: Does it have a removable drip tray

On quick inspection I don’t see how the seal tray can be removed.

Q: Does it work for liquids?

Yes, it can seal or vacuum and seal bags containing liquids, though I suggest reading instructions and/or online hints from experienced users that may help to avoid spills or leaks on the way to securing a good seal. Above all, it is essential to select the "moist" button when vacuum sealing "wet" contents.
