Hmm, I’ve been using this shampoo and conditioner set for three weeks now. I feel like it does neutralize some brassiness in the hair, but I definitely have to use it daily. If I don’t use it for a few washes, I can clearly see that my hair turns a darker, more yellow shade of blonde.The downside to the shampoo is that you actually have to use quite a bit for it to lather well and cover all your hair. I guess I can’t really see any difference with the conditioner. At this point, I’m still not sure how much conditioner I should be using since I can’t see where it’s covering my hair once I apply it (the purple color diminishes instantly).You definitely need some type of serum for the hair post-wash because although this set doesn’t strip your hair dry completely, it doesn’t moisturize it very well either. And no, this does not turn your hair purple nor does it stain your skin.However, since I barely bleached my hair three weeks ago, perhaps it’s still too early to tell how well this set controls brassiness. I’ll have to update this review once I finish the set (I suspect in a month or two).——UPDATE (1.5 month of using later):Okay, so I was mixing this shampoo with my regular color-safe shampoo. I noticed it wasn’t controlling the yellow mess very well - I was starting to doubt this set. But then I started using it by itself for the last three days - HOLY! My routine is that I’ll use some of this and lather my hair up, then add some more of this shampoo a second time to make sure it REALLY lathers. Then I’d leave this on for 2-3 minutes. So like, after three days of washing daily with this set by ITSELF, my hair went from turning an ugly orange/yellow color to MORE PLATINUM. Like wow! Please do use this set by itself and leave it in for at least 2-3 minutes for three days - you will see a DRASTIC a difference. I could see the difference right away when my hair was wet over the 3 days. THIS SET WORKSSSS!The picture with the curled hair is right after I spent $400 dyeing my hair. Which was on April 27, 2018. The picture with the Snapchat filter was taken today - June 4, 2018. Between these two times, my hair gradually turned more brassy until I started using this shampoo by itself (I never took pic sorry). And it still doesn’t stain my hands or skin if some of you were wondering.

I was recommended this great product, and no regrets. Work perfectly fine on my curly colored hair.

It’s been over two months now since I purchased this product and I am undecided. I started out with a nice silver-white color around my face with plenty of silvery strands amongst my original black elsewhere. I do not use any heat tools on my hair nor very much styling product. But, since I spend a lot of time outdoors, I noticed the yellowing effect. ArtNaturals advertises use of mostly natural ingredients, so I chose it as my first “purple” shampoo. Well, it does stave off yellowing for a day or two, depending on my outdoor exposure. It still yellows, but it is hard to see unless the light hits it just right. So it does what it says it will do. However:--it does not lather very well for me and, once done shampooing, my hair does not feel clean, even if I wash it twice. No matter how much I rinse, my hairs feels like I have styling product on it;--the conditioner is hard for me to get out of the bottle. (This is probably specific to just me, though.) And,--my hair lost some shine. Without the use of some old coconut silk hair oil I had leftover, it really does look like the bottom of an aluminum soda can and my remaining black hairs look the color of pencil lead instead of the ink black it naturally is.It’s a trade-off, I guess, the sacrifice of the silver-white color and shine/clarification for the minimizing of the yellow effect. This might probably happen with any purple product. At least I do not have to wash my hair as often as I had been doing, which has been great for fallout. I do not seem to lose as much hair even if my hair washing time has increased by 10 minutes. Still, I think I am going to continue exploring. I do like that ArtNaturals uses mostly natural ingredients, however, so may ultimately return to using it.

Perfect shampoo and conditioner for blonde hair - natural or dyed!

I have been using this product for a week (I shampoo daily). I have years of light blonde balayage that is prone to brassiness. On the first wash, I applied the shampoo to dry hair, as others have suggested, for optimum color deposit. Note that this will require 3x as much product. After using both the shampoo and conditioner the first time, I noticed visibly reduced brassiness. On subsequent washes, I applied to wet hair and the brassiness continued to decrease and my color looks refreshed (almost like when they apply toner at the salon). Note that both the shampoo and conditioner recommend leaving on for 3-5 minutes for optimal results, which can be hard if you don't take long showers, but I generally leave the shampoo in while I lather with body wash and the conditioner while I shave. It's important to note that these products do as they say, and nothing more. They reduce brassiness and maintain your gorgeous blonde. They do NOT add volume, or shine, or softness. The first time I used these, I air dried my hair with no additional products and I didn't like the result at all - my hair was limp and had no bounce or softness and almost looked stringy. Now I apply products afterward (thermal protectant, shine serum), style as usual, and the results are great.

This is an expensive shampoo, but I think is good, my gray heir hasn't gone yellowish, so I think it most be doing it's job

Beste Shampoo was ich bisher je hatte. Es trocknet die Haare nicht aus und macht ein schönes leichtes Silberblond ohne dabei zu Silber oder lila zu wirken. Ich werde es nur noch benutzt. Preis Leistung Top

This is my favourite duo ever, deep purple in colour but really sorted my hair out it’s now in fabulous condition. Will always use this brand from now onwards

Me parece q cumple el prometido: equilibra/neutraliza los tonos de la balayage y no es necesario utilizar mucho el shampoo. Con poco resulta bien.El condicionador hay q poner una cantidad más grande.Una pena pues he comprado el pack por EUR 19,95 y ahora lo veo a EUR 89,99. Una barbaridad!
