I’m amending the below review. I see that others had a problem with air in the line, but my problem was a little different. I didn’t reach out to the seller because I didn’t feel like hassling, but to my surprise the seller reached out to me! They wanted to see if the air clearing trick worked, but my problem wasn’t due to not staying lit. When I tried the fix and it didn’t work, they sent me a new one which works perfectly every time, therefore they get the extra stars they deserve. As a couple of other reviewers have said, this company has a great Customer Service section.*Original Review:This is a beautiful, somewhat heavy lighter that packs a punch with a strong flame, and has a very nice see through chamber to check the fluid at a glance. The reason for only 3 stars is because it doesn’t light every time, so I have no confidence or trust in it, and that forces me to keep a backup handy. For that reason, I can’t really take this one with me away from home.

When I was going to buy this lighter, I must admit I was weary of the bad reviews out there, even after I realized that most of those reviews were actually about a different lighter than this, as it can be seen in a few video clips. I waited a week or so and decided to write my honest opinion. So far did not have any problem with it. It looks and feels premium. It feels it has a good weight in my hands as opposed other light cheap plastic ones I had previously, since this one is made of metal. It lights up promptly and it looks elegant and I really like it. So far I am happy with it. I hope your experience is the same as mine. UPDATE: 7 months later the lighter is still very good. This has become my dependable lighter. It works great with NO issues so far. I will update later if anything changes.

The description and the packaging insert both state the lighter does not ship with lighter fluid for safety reasons. Well, there was fluid in the lighter and the lighter did not function. Guessing this was sent out to someone else, didn’t work, was returned, and then I was the lucky soul to receive it. Also, box seal was broken. I will be returning this and looking for something different.Update: After removing all the fuel and filling with new fuel I was able to make the lighter work. However, I noticed the adjustment knob travel is only useful from full open (+) to about 15% the other way. Any other adjustment is useless with no flame. I’m keeping it because I like the look, feel, and weight of this lighter.

The media could not be loaded. I really liked this lighter and it performed well. But I noticed the fuel level seemed to drop between uses. With a fresh fill of butane, I could hear it escaping when I closed to cover. See the attached video. I bought this almost 2 months ago, and have used it to light maybe 4 cigars.

The customer service of this product is outstanding. I wrote a review and low and behold the company contacted me immediately and either offered to refund me or send me a replacement, which I love the lighter, so I went with the replacement and within a few days I received my replacement. And the new one works perfect. I highly recommend the company stands behind their product.I waited to give my review to try these lighters to see how they performed. I bought 2 of these lighters about 10 days apart, the Gunmetal Black the 1st purchased, and the Yellow 2nd purchased. The Gunmetal black has worked flawlessly. The Yellow not so much, once filled it will last about a day and then refilling where the Gunmetal will last at lease 3 days. The spring for the top door stopped working on the Yellow one, once I hit the button to light, I have to manually open the top door and it is only 3 months old. I can't find the Seller to contact to see if their warranty would cover replacement. I love the lighter and I give the Gunmetal lighter a 5-star rating but the Yellow a 3-star rating. If seller contacts me, I will give another review on customer service.

I was getting tired of the gas station torches and found this deal online. Great little torches holds much more butane than one would expect for its size and it has a nice heft to it (without the butane). Great cigar lighting experience, and I appreciate the 1-year warranty given that the last torch I got from Amazon stop working after a few months
