Excellent value for a full-featured scan tool!
I have used this on the following vehicles to good results:2012 Lexus CT200h2011 GMC Yukon XL Denali2003 Honda PilotThe older Honda Pilot was a little squirrley because it's and older vehicle and it couldn't automatically determine what modules were available (had options for radar cruise, heated seats, and a few other features only in the newer vehicles), but I was able to find all faults and clear them, or know better what and how to fix something. On the newer vehicles it detected everything but a few parameters and prompted for the necessary information. Once entered it scanned only the available modules and allowed for quick and easy browsing of the various modules, their current status codes, historical codes, and a quick and easy clear and rescan. I was also able to see what VINs were coded into the various modules in the Yukon and see that a few had been replaced with parts from other vehicles. Not a big deal in my mind as long as everything works, but worth being able to see where potential problem areas may be.I've borrowed a Snap-On scan tool from a buddy a few times, but now I finally have my own scan tool for a reasonable price and can work on my vehicles on my own schedule! Poking around the menus and it will be able to do everything I need to be able to, so far transmission diagnostics and brake bleeding are all I would have needed this for, but being able to get into all of the body modules will surely come in handy down the road.

great scanner for the money, will do 90% of what a hobbiest wants with domestics
got this on a lightning sale for like 385, totally worth it, works well on my 05 ram 2500, was able to pull a stored ABS code that would turn the light on, i plan to use it on a 2011 honda odyssey to program a key so far it's already paid for itself. for Fords (if that's your intended use) i would recommend ForScan, get the trial enhanced license, it's tied to the date you got the license so set your computer back, everything else domestic to the US i think this scanner will do it, and while you've got the free subscription, update update update, the tool is still good even after your subscription expires but if you're out of updates 2-3 years down the road, vehicles made within that window won't work for OEM specific functions (generic OBDII is always available and CEL codes are always generic) super easy to use. check autel website for what you want to do to make sure it's the right scanner for you, i know it is good for me (also have obdwiz and forscan)

Very intuitive to use
I've used various other name-brand scanners but this Autel unit provides the wide range of features needed for our shop and is easy to navigate. Definitely a good value. I recommend you get a screen saver when you purchase one. We got a couple of small scratches on our 808S screen before adding one.

Overall a good scanner
The scanner works as intended, there is a little bit of a learning curve but overall it’s manageable. I bought it to do brakes on our equinox that requires an advanced scanner to retract the electric parking brake. Only gave it 4 stars due to the subscription cost for renewal. I do like its ability to tell me why my abs light is on directing it to the specific wheel so I can focus on that part. I’m not a mechanic, just work on my own cars so I believe it will be a good fit.

FANTASTIC Scanner..
AWESOME scanner, it has more capabilities that I have conquered. I love it. I have used it on a few vehicles and to check the check engine light. read the codes, it has helped with the abs function on a car that I am stumped with brake issues. Very easy to learn. Sadly no owners manual I mean in the physical sense. I believe you have to download it. Plenty of YouTube tutorials. Well worth the money.

Awesome scanner. Don't second guess if this will do the job.
Does just as much or more than the expensive scanners for a much more affordable price. Will pay for itself within 1 or 2 uses. Upgradable (for a fee) and comes with 1 year of free updates. Updates come in once or twice a month. Wait for a deal on it (paid 383) for the mk808 or track the price with the keepa app.

Recommended only for people who are a bit mechanic savvy.
It's nice to be honest I'm not a mechanic at all and most mechanic shops won't care what these device says they will want to hook up their own scanning system. It does cost around $150 a year to get updates and upgrades for new stuff however it still works without the subscription you will just not have the latest fixes and what not on it.If you're not a mechanic like me I believe you're better off not buying this but if you are a little savvy and want maybe a starting point to look to try and fix your car maybe this will work for you. A company I work for surprisingly uses this to program key fobs.
