Efficient Kettle
This does what it needs to BUT the plastic mesh filter is absolutely useless - boiled water dribbles out as you pour! Pours much better without it in place.

An expensive cheap kettle
It’s a cheap kettle, from the same cheap kettle factory that makes every other cheap kettle, and probably every expensive kettle as well. The signs were ominous when it arrived, in new condition, yet padding-free, in a box held barely held together with sellotape. Like every other cheap kettle, it’s a plastic jug with a lid and a heating element. So why label it expensive? Because it feels like one of the flimsiest home appliances I’ve ever owned. The plastic walls are thick enough to be safe, but thin enough to lose their shape by a fraction when the water boils. This causes the lid to lift slightly. Not enough to cause a leak, but enough to wish you’ve spent a bit more for a better model. It feels hollow and cost-optimised at every inch. After a few weeks the white plastic starts to discolour yellow.I could go on and on. It works fine, and I’m sure every other kettle at the same price is just as compromised, but at whatever the price is when you read this review, it will feel as if it’s worth 1/10th of the price when you pick it up. Which would be a fair price. In short, if you can possibly afford something that at least looks nice, or is made of metal, go for that instead.

You get what you pay for.
Bought this because it looked like the one that we've had for ages but has now stopped working. I wish I'd gone for something a bit sturdier. It is indeed lightweight and, because the top is wider than the bottom, it's not particularly stable unless really full of water. A better design would have been with the bottom wider than the top. Also, the spout is really small and tends to dribble unless you pour very carefully. It was cheap and it does the job, so it will do for now, but next time I'll probably go for something much sturdier (and no doubt costlier).

LEAKY KETTLE
WHEN POURING THE WATER INTO CUP THE WATER JUST LEAKS ALL OVER THE PLACE NOT VERRY GOOD QUALITY . ONLY GOOD THING IT BOILS RESONABLE FAST, AND ITS SMALLER THAN OTHER KETTLS
