It works for what I wanted. As you can see in the listing, you can use both sides. It would have been great if each side was a different size to accommodate for cases. As it is, my phone fits perfect but if I were using an otterbox or other robust case, it would not fit.

It is wide enough for an ipad, but when I turn the ipad long side up, it lost balance and falls down. The holder is not long enough to counterbalance an upright ipad.The quality of the item is very good, though.

Not sure what this is designed to hold? Because it doesn't hold anything that I've put in it. 9x12 lapboard? Nope! IPad? Nope! The grooves are way too big and the footprint doesn't hold anything. Just tips over. What a joke! Save your money. Ohh and it wayyyy longer than stated to arrive by USPS.

When using it with an iPad if you touch the iPad the entire thing falls over backwards. It’s not sturdy enough to maintain a power cord and a speaker cord with the adapter on an iPad. If use it on an iPhone and iPhone tilt so far back because the slot is so big. If you put the iPhone in landscape blocks part of the screen. Generally it’s pretty but pretty useless. Not worth returning.

Nice little stand, basic item at basic price, would deserve a much better rating if mine didn't arrive faulty, on one side the wood was warped, blocking the end of the groove and stopped my phone from sitting flush. I had to file it down to get it to work as intended. Unfortunately I didn't think to take a photo of it before filing it. In the photo I've uploaded after filing you can see I've filed away the bits blocking the end of the groove but you can also still see the curves where the wood is warped. Not terrible, but not great either.

If you want something to simply prop up your iPad, this works fine. If you want to be able to use the touch screen while it's propped up, then you need to be careful. Poke it too hard, particularly at the top, or off to one side, and the whole thing gets a bit shaky. It's right on the edge of being unstable, and it doesn't take much to push it over.

Es ist ein dünner Schlitz für Geräte ohne Hülle und eine etwas dickere Version für Geräte mit Hülle vorhanden. Sehr praktisch! In den dicken Schlitz passt mein iPhone mit Lederbumper gut rein. Die Tiefe der Fräsungen ist ideal, tief genug das die Geräte stabilen halt haben, der Displayinhalt aber noch nicht abgedeckt wird. Verarbeitung ist für diesen Preis sehr gut, Kanten sind recht glatt geschliffen. Wirkt generell solide und durchdacht.

Unfortunately, is too narrow even for the relatively thin case on my phone.
