The led strip kit comes with plenty of extra wire, and 2 means of power, 12v plug in or the wire to the battery approach. Led strips can be cut to size for better fit. The extra wire this kit comes with has different wires than the led strip so imagine making 2 wires connect to 4... it's a pain. I actually cut 1 of the 4 led strips off and used it's wire as my extension wire due to this troublesome ordeal. ( only needed 3 light strips anyway). The app for the lights is very simple, although the color wheel doesn't make finding “pure white” easy but “ blue tint white” seems to be close enough. I installed in 5 degree weather ( Thanks Minnesota) and the strips seemed to work just fine regardless of low temps. *7 day update* strips do not change color well with -15 degree weather… click a color and you can see the leds edges change color and then after a few seconds the whole led changes color. The packaging claims -20-60 degree working temperature. Not sure how 90 degree summer days will impact the led strips. I used this kit to make my Chevy Cruze headlights glow. They have kits for headlights but this is the better approach, who wants to cut/ mess with wires in a new car and tell me you won't void warranties. All in all, great package for under glow or any type of vehicle lighting.WARNING: Not all information on Amazon or Ditrio packaging can be true. Amazon claims 50,000 hour bulb life, when you open the led strip package the Ditrio company paper claims 30,000 hour bulb life. That is a very big gap but for $28 you are not going to be to worried. For the money the kit seems to be very well worth it. I would recommend to any type of lighting job on a vehicle.

Its an okay product. A bit frustrating though. For those having issues with the lights flashing and not connecting to your phone. Its not getting enough power. The lighter plugin and battery plugin use 12 strand wire and the extra stuff they include is only 9 strand and causes issues when extending. Either buy more 12 strand wire or cut the 9 strand in half and double up on it to make 18, then extend the plugs. The overall quality is alright, definitely beats paying 100$ or more. the electrical circuits of it has a hum so thats annoying. wire it to the engine battery and keep the parts outside to avoid it.

These lights are really cool, controlling them from my phone is the best part about these lights. The only real draw back is that these lights don’t have enough wiring for a full size sedan. I installed these on my 2010 Ford Fusion and it was quite a bit of work. To get a strip of light on the front, back and sides and also have the switch in the car, I had to extend the wires.If you’re looking to install this on a full size sedan, suv, or truck, you will need to know how to solder wires together.

Overall: The adhesive backing on these is not the best. If you are going to be mounting this under your car I would highly suggest using a secondary mounting option with them. It does come with some zip ties so thats nice. The app did give me a bit of trouble, but I did get it working. This kit worked for me, and the strips were surprisingly long and bright.Cons: Adhesive backing wasn't very strong. Connection to phone was spotty.Pros: Bright and long strips. App color control. Pretty easy to setup.

Lights are bright but that’s the only good thing I can say about these leds. I bought two sets but only one connected after numerous attempts and one just never connected at all. I even used my iPhone X and tried my old G4 same result. The one that did connect would lose connection shortly after. Then it came to a point where it was connected but I couldnt change the colors it was stuck on the setting it disconnected from. Don’t buy these. I’m highly disappointed.

The product was fairly easy to install, took a while to route it through my firewall to get it to be used as underglow, and in all took about 2 hours. The lights worked initially, which had me pretty stoked, but for some reason only works when the car isn't completely on. I have them connected to the cigarette lighter, and it only works when the car is in the "on" position, but once i start the car, the lights start to flicker and i can no longer connect it or control it with my phone. All in all, they are good quality, just might need some work on the control box, or maybe fix the bluetooth issue. I have also bought a portable battery pack to use for the lights, and it was a total waste of money since that didn't work either, and the lights just flicker very dimmly.

Very cool lights. Installed them on my son’s car. Very bright. Had some minor issues with the app when tried to change color. But after re-install the app it worked fine. The quality of led stripe lights pretty good and I like that it water resistant and flexible. The lenght of the cables pretty enough to run them through the car. My son is happy and so do I.

Ok, so it is suppose to be for under the car kit when I bought it. However, when installing, the cables are NOT long enough to fit under the car into the correct positions. Not all the lights worked, the app it tells you to use doesn't connect all the time. you have to unplug the little box then plug it back into the power source for it to work again, which is a pain. All in all, it was a poor design. On top of that, it completely stopped working within 3 months. So i just ripped it off and threw it away. Would be better suited for a pc tower or something of the sort.
