Yes it returns in about 3-5 seconds.

What is the speed of the mat? Seems like an 8 or less.

I feel like it rolls pretty fast. As someone who golfs on both extremely slow and extremely fast greens in two different leagues, I’d say it is definitely much closer to the faster side of greens.
