Gives a nice, even satinised finish on sterling silver castings after 3hrs in a ten inch wet vibratory tumbler with BarrelBrite "soap". Pyramids reach into detail well. Under microscope finish looks an even texture, not scratchy, so it's ideal for creating the even satin backgrounds I need to contrast with highly polished foreground details. Won't remove rapid prototyping lines or casting defects as these need to be filed smooth or polished out first, but then creates a nice even surface to leave satin or burnish to a polish. I was also delighted in trials that pre-polished areas can be protected with a paint on mask of "PlastiDip" peelable rubber coating, so that intricate areas of polished detail can be contrasted with a satinised background.

This is equivalent to what you may by at shops. It works well, though it is better utilized as a wet media than dry. Make sure you understand the volume / price balance.
