When I show people this they get scared like it's a weapon. It would be horrendous to get stabbed with this in the face, but it's a pretty lousy weapon for defense.However, if you don't have a clean fork while snacking at a reception, this is great at picking up fruit and meat slices, or even carrots. It's also nice to have something precise to nudge things with. If you smoke/vape, it's a poker. If you need to stab a hole in a belt because you lost weight, it'll get it done. If you need something precise to press buttons at the checkout counter or elevator without touching the dirty pad with your fingers, you can use the tube without extending the needle. Overall it's extremely useful and easy to carry.

Can use for personal safety. I use mine to help open small boxes which are taped.
