Works great! No quality loss
Was needing something to be able to hook up multiple consoles to my crt tv, and this does it great! No image quality loss, and it switches instantly, due to component being an analog signal instead of digital. Would recommend this product!

This works and doesn't cause any interference. Wish they made one to accommodate 6 to 8 consoles vs the 3.

Works with both old equipment and new equipment
Was told this splitter weren’t work with my system in the RV satellite system. So far working as I hoped.

Beware!! Shipped with the wrong power supply
The 1x2 component splitter requires 12V, 500mA but included in the box was a 5V, 2A power adapter. Since it was undervolted, it would never fully power on and work. Luckily I had a spare 12V power supply that fit, and once I switched to that, it powers on and works beautifully. Glad I noticed that before I tried to return it as not working.

Product works as advertised if only one (1) input at a time is active / powered on
I was expecting the product to completely cut off each input signal if a different input signal has been selected. However, this is not the case. The “Y” signal for port 1 is shorted to the output “Y” signal. If the device connected to port 1 is on at the same time as the devices on either ports 2 or 3 are on (and either port 2 or port 3 are selected to be displayed / output), the signals will mix and the display will be distorted. As long as only one (1) input device / signal is powered on at a time, this device operates and performs as expected.

Great component switcher
Great component switcher. Three inputs and one output. Selecting each input is quick and easy. Clicking all three inputs at once, let the switcher automatically send signal. Solid built.

Right audio output broken
The media could not be loaded. Initially I was stoked to have my 3 consoles with quality component cables hooked up at once, but it turns out the audio output in the right red port is defective. Audio is fine on the other one, but I only get a loud buzz with the right red output. Bummer.Edit: (2/16/24) So after further testing it seems there’s some kind of conflict between the green port of input 1 and the right red audio output port. If I don’t use input one, particularly that green port, then input 2 and 3 will work okay with full stereo sound. Kind of a relief as I can at least use it this way until a replacement arrives. For what it’s worth quality from my Retrovision HD cables on my SNES and Genesis isn’t lost through this switch. So I assume that if you don’t get a lemon like me, this is a great switch! I know my Wii cables work as I’ve connected directly before, and the same issue with input 1 happens when I tried it with an entirely different console, but until I get a replacement I’ll have to just use it as a two way switch Lol. Oh well.
