OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Flexible Turner - Medium

This spatula is in the smaller side, which makes it easier to use with some of our smaller pans. It is quite thin and flexible, allowing it to get under food easily. I like the metal construction because I have moved away from plastic cooking utensils. We have several spatulas in our kitchen but everyone seems to reach for this one first. If it was lost, I would replace it with the same thing.

Perfect turner for what it’s designed to do. Key word is flexible. This is great for over easy eggs, small pancakes, fish, or scallops.This is not ment to scramble eggs or flip steaks. It’s amazing for delicate foods as it was designed to be not for giant food or scrambling!

This flexible turner is amazing with fried eggs. It is NOT good for scraping a pan or turning heavy foods. Be gentle with cleaning it as well - we put it in the dishwasher fine, but we broke our first one trying to scrub some dried food off it - the flexible metal popped off the two little prongs of the handle. But we love the thing so much we bought another and we're just more careful with it now.

I was looking for a flexible spatula and based on past OXO purchases I thought this one would be high quality. I was a bit shy of a plastic spatula. I was right to be wary. After a few months tiny pieces of plastic were coming off in the food. Now I can't even donate it. I am very disappointed and now I have to throw it out. Such a waste! I can't recommend this spatula.

I think it is hilarious that people are leaving bad reviews for this due to the super thin and flexible construction of this spatula... it is purposely designed that way!!!!! It is made to be paper thin to get under you food and turn it without ripping the food apart. There are situations that call for regular spatulas and situations that call for this one! this one absolutely the go to for needing one that gets under without breaking your food ... eggs, pancakes etc!

Works good, the only thing is it's very thin and possible could cut you while washing

Let's start this off by saying that I am a huge oxo fan. I have oxo things strewn throughout my kitchen. I'm usually generally pleased with the build quality and functionality of all their products. This one however misses the mark. It's a great design, The slightly curved blade results in being very flexible in one direction and semi-rigid in the other direction which is ideal for what I wanted it to do, however the build quality has proven to be substandard. Three of the four spot welds holding the blade to the handle have failed just months into its daily usage. I'm hoping this is a fluke and have reordered it because I really do like the design however if it fails again we will be looking elsewhere. Please see attached picture
