This does exactly what I wanted. If I wake up in the middle of the night with a really dry mouth, I can just raise my arm and this light will turn on just bright enough for me to see the jug on my night stand for a quick sip of water. The red light is gentle enough that I can get right back to sleep, and the light turns off after one minute. It's exactly what I wanted.

Purchased for using the restroom in the middle of the night. I tried a handful of others and these are the winner. Compact size/doesn't cover both outlets, perfect brightness (some are too bright), and sensor works for me. I do wish it stayed on a minute longer because I am still scared of the dark at 53 y/o. Do mirrors turn into portals to other dimensions in complete darkness? I do not want to find out.

Works great and is bright enough that you can see where you're going without losing your night vision or being rudely completely woken up. It is also very unobtrusive looking. The only problem I have with it, is that it doesn't turn off when you turn the main light on. The motion sensor works great but it'd be nice if there was a photosensor or something to turn off when main light is on or it is daylight.

We got the red ones and they’re great. Super good motion detection and stay on for a pretty long time. We got one for the bathroom and kitchen, super happy we got them.

Dimmable red light motion-activated night light. I prefer to sleep in the dark with as few lights as possible. All my previous night lights were bright white and on all night, which is a problem when the light is shining right outside my bedroom door. I wasn't sure about spending $9/ea for a night light, but once I got them, I realized how great they are. I have them set to auto, and the motion detection works perfectly. As soon as I get to the bathroom door, it lights up. Although, the dim setting is still brighter than I would prefer (-1/2 star for this), the red light is vastly better than what I had before. When you get this item, the switch on the bottom is set to OFF. Don't forget to change it before you plug it in lest you think the brand new lights don't work! Learn from my mistake.

Perfect for my needs, works exactly as described. I'll be buying more for my bathrooms.

I checked all the stars for brightness because it is very bright. In fact, it is too bright for me. There is supposed to be 2 settings but I don't notice any difference between the settings. I ended up putting black electrical tape over 3/4 of the light and it is fine that way. It comes on with motion and shuts off as it is supposed to. If you are looking for a light that will light up your bathroom or any room quite a bit when you enter the room, this is the light for you.

I put one in the hallway, one in the master bedroom. No more being scared or risking getting hurt in middle of night when our girls have a nightmare and go to come down hall into our room to get us. I also get up at night to take a second dose of one of my meds, and the light turns on and then back off before I make it back to bed, so no falling asleep with extra light in the room. It's bright when you need it, off when you don't. The fact that its red light means it doesn't blow your eyesight out at night or hurt your eyes either. Great nightlights.

Keeps areas lit when needed. Motion sensors work great. Red and just bright enough to help me find my way to the washroom and back at night or when I go to the kitchen for a drink of water.

i am very pleased with this light and highly recommend. the dawn to dusk and motion detection works for me.

These are very good value for the price.

I got these for when I’m up in the night with my baby but I find them too bright even on the lowest setting and a little hard on the eyes. I wish they could go even dimmer.

I never know if it will work at all. I never know what range it activates at. I never know how long it will stay on. It's just a garbage product. Choose a better light.
