Absolutely Brilliant !
A friend encouraged me to buy these fly traps showing me hers and all the flies inside.I bought 4 and secured them around the garden well away from the house. That's important. As the traps attract flies they need to be away from the house or if hung nearby you'll just get a house full of flies. It took about 48 hours before flies were attracted to them. Slowly at first, but as more and more flies died the traps started to stink which in turn attracted more flies.I shook the bottles several times to remix the settled powder and have added more water to those bottles where the sun has evaporated the original water. The downside is, so far, we're having trouble finding replacement powder sachets to use next time but apparently using apple cider vinegar and honey or a bit of raw meat in water will work just as well because once in the trap a fly cannot escape.I thoroughly recommend these fly traps. Look at my photographs. It's rather creepy to think that if not for these traps all those thousand of flies might have been coming into the house, driving me insane as I ran around with a fly swatter or that awful stinky fly spray.Last year I used the yellow sticky window traps but it's a devil of a job removing the glue from the glass after the trap is full, and it looks sickly seeing dead flies stuck to the windows. I'm so pleased I won't ever have to use those again. These bottle fly traps are brilliant! Whomsoever invented them needs commending. Credit to you.

It simply works.
The media could not be loaded. Saw other reviews and seen photos of the bottle half full with flies so I ordered and once I got it, we had a day or two of rain so I had to keep it in the house, until the sun was back out to activate the solution.Well as it was in the house, 1 mini fly got into the solution which was a good sign...I hung it out in the sun and it has started to really do it's job... Another rainy day today and it seems ok outside, it's not over filling with water, still the same amount with added flies from previous days. I will attach a photo of the results so far. Probably had a week and half the week has been raining but in the sun and generally dry days it works well.See mini video... It's also raining today. All in all a great fly trap... It even had a spider in there, I'm not sure if it escaped but It was in there a while.Get one these they are great. The only downside is the smell apparently, I haven't noticed much of a smell so far but it apparently smells like faeces which is basically what most flies are attracted to.

They work really well but smell so wrong!!!
This fly trap really works. Within a week there were hundreds in the trap. But a word of warning. It stinks! I had it by my backdoor. After a while the pong was coming in. I had to move it. It still filled up where I put it. I decided to empty it so that I could put in a refill. BIG mistake. I emptied it in to a hole I had dug. Revolting. I was heaving so much. There was residue in the bottle so I thought to rinse it with hot water. BIG mistake No.2. The bottle melts. And is still really stinky. I swear my nostrils just clamped shut on their own. Want to really up set a Karen neighbour....

Amazing
This is truly amazing. You put out the item as instructed then sit and wait. It took about 10 minutes and then it was covered in Friesland it didn't stop for weeks. In the end it was full to the top so we opened a new one. This is truly amazing and will be buying more for this summer. I used 1 for 2 months.I do have a video but it won't let me download it. I can send it if you want to see it in action.

Parts Missing & Totally Ineffective !!!
Package arrived on time but that is the only one good point !!! Opened the Flycatchers only to find that they Did Not contain the Top Hanging Components !!! Anyway, the instructions were followed and the Flycatchers were placed on an upper shelf amongst the abundance of Flies that were present within the room... So, To Conclude On The Effectiveness Of These So Called Flycatchers "AFTER 24hrs NOT EVEN ONE SINGLE SOLITARY FLY HAD ENTERED ANY OF THE TWO JARS" !!!!! In Fact, More & More Flies Seemed To Come Into The Conservatory But Only To Have A Look At The Contraptions & Have A GOOD LAUGH At Them !!!!!!! Now They Remain Standing There On The Shelf Looking Like Two Half Full Jars Of 20 Year Old "PICALILLY" !!!!! Today I Will Dispose Of The Contents Down The Toilet & Maybe Use The Pretty Coloured Jars As Money Boxes Os Storing Nuts & Bolts & Screws Or Something Similar !!! "COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY & TIME" !!!!!!!

They're huge and the liquid stinks!!
Arrived really quickly. They're much bigger than I thought they'd be - about the size of a packet of flour. The liquid really, really stinks. About a day after setting them up I came home from work and wondered what the awful smell was that hit me as I came through the door. Didn't take me long to realise it was these. Got rid of liquid down the loo and refilled with a jam and water mix. Not so smelly, but the liquid will likely go mouldy on the top before it catches any flies. There were no flies caught when I threw the stinky liquid away. No flies a week later in the jam and water mix. They might make good wasp catchers on camping trips but it's back to the window sunflowers for me and hoovering up the casualties + will look at getting a hard core wall mounted zappers. Thankfully not a very expensive lesson learned.

Gross but satisfying
This has caught so many flies. It’s utterly disgusting! I actually don’t want to empty it to refill it. (Might leave that to the other half!) it stinks! Did wonder if it attracted more flies to my house than what would be around possibly? Anyway.. but it cheap enough to see for yourself you won’t be disappointed. It has only really caught bluebottles not those little fruit flies or midges

Bug off and fly max best ones to buy.
Works a treat. Very few fly's come in my home. Sticks awful when walking past but defo does the job. May attract more fly's than would normally get as gets filled up quite quickly. I just add more water and give it a shake. Lasts about 3 months.
