Everything about this chair is top quality ignore the reviews that say otherwise!!! The veneer is just like the original the arm rest comes off like the original and the leather is superb the combination of the dark chocolate brown and the walnut is stunning. I would recommend this chair to my pickiest friends. Came fast and practically all assembled which also a sign of good quality. If you can buy this before it’s gone!!!!

Always feel it can be tricky with these replica chairs. Vendors seem to come and go. This is actually a 2nd purchase - 1st chair was another brand and a different seller where the review page for the brand and seller is no longer available (can't remember names, but definitely not this brand nor the "GENNIYZ" also currently available on AMZ). Bottom line, this "TOOMOO" is better built/manufactured when at least compared to the 1st chair purchased - so am happy with it! Materials (leather, plywood, etc.) generally the same and very good, but key is all the screw holes and brackets lined up nicely. This made assembly much easier (video guide was super helpful). Also, there were small additional items, such as the nylon washers and a locking washer for the chair base - that the 1st chair did not have - that made this TOOMOO seem a little better thought out. Assembly took well below one hour with just one person. Final product is a nice, solid version of the iconic lounge chair (which was never meant to be a rocking chair, rather just a lounging chair with a tilt). Overall, satisfied and do recommend!Note this is a "tall" version in the walnut and dark brown (real) leather combination (1st chair was standard sized, definitely think the tall version is the way to go in general). Came in two boxes which arrived after about a week and over 2 days. Small box contains the base and some brackets. Large box contains the seat components/cushions. Packaging was efficient and overall protected the items well. Fortunately, FEDEX delivery also seemed to have treated the boxes well.Only issues were one screw did not align perfectly (but still totally workable) as well as paint chips in the bases (sharing 1 picture, but there were about 3 chips total, fortunately in hard to see areas). Will be emailing vendor if they are able to provide matching touch up paint.

The chair is advertised as a recliner -- but doesn't adjust. I thought recliners adjusted!! It's just me, I'm sure. It isn't all that comfortable for me. The back is too low, so there is no support for my head or shoulders. BUT it is a "beautiful" chair if you like looking at chairs and not sitting in them. I did return the chair, the vendor was very forthcoming and welcoming. Amazon is a great service as well. So, in the end I had to pay a good amount of money to return the chair, but keeping it and not using it wasn't what I liked to think about.

We purchased this chair last week and it came within 5 days or so. I put it together by myself in about an hour and a half. Having someone to help attach the back would have been helpful but I was able to get it together by myself. This is a really nice chair that is made with nice parts and is really well put together. We got the brown leather and walnut in the "tall" version. If you haven't seen on of these in person the originals are quite small and if you are over I would say about 5'4" your head will not rest on the backrest so the Tall version is probably best if you are of average height or larger. Really a nice chair, I looked at quite a few before settling on this one and think that this particular one was a good purchase. My friend has a real one and I don't really see the need to spend 10x more for something that is honestly marginally better at best. By the way the dark brown and walnut combination is quite beautiful. Hope this helps someone looking for one of these.

05302023 UPDATE; Bought another one. Yes, they are that good. Bought the orange leather model this time around to up the household MCM vibe. Super cool color and amazing leather quality. Go for it!I grew up around a REAL Eames chair like this "tribute" model. Never wanted to part with $8.5k for the real deal. This beautiful specimen comes pretty close to the real deal which is good enough. Packed well in two boxes.A few tips; Have a helper available when unboxing and holding the back of the chair while you attach it to the seat portion of the chair unit. Do not tighten the fasteners all at once; think rotation or how you would torque down head bolts or driving wheels on a car. X pattern. Get bolts started and then tighten slowly and in a clockwise or counter-clockwise fashion (your choice) from bolt to bolt on each step of the assembly instructions. Your assembly should go easier as a result (mine did...).This chair appears to be well-designed/engineered with quality materials, is comfortable and was easy to assemble (with help the of another person). I will update my review should my experience with the longevity of this chair be anything less than the stellar experience I have experienced thus far.

I bought this for my husband for watching TV and reading. I looked at many replicas of the Eames chair and was looking for one with nice quality leather. I also wanted brown and walnut. We got the chair a week from ordering right on schedule. The chair was well packaged, came in two boxes on the same day via FEDEX.The leather feels like very good quality, the color is a dark chocolate brown. My Husband is 5' 10" and the tall fit's him very well, he loves his new chair. I'm 5'4 " and though it is still comfortable, If i was going to get one for myself I would get the standard height. We are very pleased with the purchase and would buy from this company again.

The chair is the same color as the picture, which is like the original. The leather seems strong & good quality. The instructions are easy to follow. Comes in 2 very well packaged boxes. It's good doing business with people the send exactly what is advertised.
