Stride Rite 360Girl's Sevita Sandal

Obviously this photo wasn’t taken after 2 days but the front part was ripped open very quickly. We’ve had other sandals similar to this one from StrideRite that did the same but not so fast!! I won’t be buying this style for my kiddo until she’s a bit older. I’m guessing she was dragging her feet while riding a trike or something at preschool. We’ve switched to closed toe for now. Also the straps are way too long. As you can see they end up curling and looking awful pretty quickly. This is a common issue we have with this style of sandal.

Shoes leave marks on my daughter's foot and her big toe falls off the side because they're too narrow :/. Definitely an unusual fit for stride rite 360's.

I discounted other reviewers’ comments about sizing, figuring it really didn’t say anything about the quality of the shoe, and assuming I’d be okay since I used Stride Rite’s sizing. We have always been happy with Stride Rite’s quality otherwise, so it should be a safe bet. We took the extra steps of going to the website and printing the size chart. My daughter comfortably fits size 4 in Stride Rite high tops now, and size 4 Cat & Jack Velcro tennis shoes. I got help holding my wiggly girl so I could get a solid reading on the size chart. It indicated she was about a 4, 4.5, so I bought a 5 to get her through this summer in these sandals. WHOA. Her toes barely peek out under the top band! She seems like a 3 would be the right size as there’s no way a 4 could be much better. Additionally, the Velcro straps would have to be tightened where they’re nearly touching the floor. I do have to agree with the other reviewers that the sizing is way off, way large. Unfortunately I can’t size down from a 5 in this style, so I have to return.I also somehow missed that these light up on the heel. My toddler is delighted to the point where she can’t focus on walking because she’s trying so hard to watch her light-up feet. I can’t recommend for a new walker…but they’re really cute.

My daughter is a size 7, but I wanted them to fit all summer, so I ordered a size 8. They looked identical. So I ordered a size 9. Compared to the size 8, the size 9 were HUGE. SOo no difference between the 7 and 8, but a massive difference between the 8 and 9.
