A tough tent that stands with in heavy rain and wind.
I bought this tent mainly for exchanging at a surfing site. I tried the instant tent for the same purpose before, as I thought that since I am not doing real camping, I would want something easier to set up and easier to remove. Also in many surfing sites, tents are technically not allowed. But I soon realized the problem of instant tents for suring purposes – they can’t really stand in strong wind, something that is very common for perfect surfing places. So that’s why I switched to this heavy duty exchanging tent. So compared to instant tents, the pros and cons of this tent are very obvious. Pros: very solid and tough, easily stands in the strong wind from the sea. The solid frame also makes it easier to stand on the sand beach. Cons: very heavy, almost the same weight as my four person tent for real camping. And complicated to set up. The whole set up process is almost the same as what it takes to set up an old school camping tent. It takes me 10 minutes to get it done. And it’s safe to say that one would really struggle with it if they have no camping experience before. But both cons are ok for me, since I would always carry this tent in my trunk with my surfing gears, so I don’t really worry about the weight of it. And I am a very experienced camper, so setting up is no big deal for me as well.In general, I would say this tent has very clear pros and cons. If you have a specific need just like me, you won’t be disappointed by the quality of it. But if you just want to find something that just gives you some privacy, and wouldn’t expect to use it in some extreme conditions, I would recommend the instant version of these tents, as weight and difficulty to set up would be the top concerns then.

spacey shower tent
This large shower tent is fantastic! I appreciate that it has two portions separated by a barrier since it keeps garments and towels out of the shower's water. Large enough for an older person to fit a chair inside and take a shower. I do wish it had a hose hook and a reinforced hole. If you had access to water nearby, you could put a water hose through the outside of the tent and into the interior someplace around the top of the tent. Since it doesn't, I simply spritz myself with the water hose while running it under the zipper. This shower tent does not come with a solar water bottle, but even if you have, they are not nearly big enough for a full shower.

Privacy
We took my daughter on her first camping trip and wanted her to have some privacy if she had to use the restroom and this worked perfectly. It sets up in seconds and Is lightweight. We love this privacy tent. It was quick & easy to set up, and was easy to assemble. It was wonderful to be able to wash off at the end of the day, and great to have the extra space to change in. Easy to set up but definitely practice folding it. Follow the instructions and it will be easy!If you like to camp, this tent is worth every cent. Awesome !! Would definitely recommend!

It's private.
Private, but non functional when trying to duplicate the ad photo. Impossible to hang a shower bag that high functionally like in the ad. Not without some ingenuity on the buyers part. It's Private. That's about it.

“First Step is a Doozy!”
I should have taken a picture before I broke it down and packed it up. The photo provided is not accurate, I cannot explain how that would be but there is a significant step up over the fabric across the door opening, maybe six inches. We intended to use this as a porta potty tent and don’t want to fall in and out of it! The door design is also ackward, requiring a bit of figgeting with each use. The door should have a wired rim to allow it to maintain form and not have to use the zipper closure with every use. The zipper needs to be a double zipper so you do not have to open the entire arc.

Nice tent but, with problems
Tent is great. However the steel poles are very sharp on the ends. They put holes in the storage bags before we even went on our first trip. They also put a hole in our rain fly before our first trip.
