Worked great
Bought this tool after watching a video to fix a shaking steering column, and this was exactly what I needed. Made the job much easier.

Surprisingly broke the first time I used it.
I've purchased several Lisle tools in the past and have never had an issue until this one. Luckily, it broke at a point in the job, that I could continue working. I used them to remove 2 pivot pins in a tilt steering column I was rebuilding and it worked well on the first one but the second, it broke about 3/4 of the way out. The center threaded hole snapped and fell out of the tool. It does come with an extra hex screw, but without the threads, this tool is useless. Like I said, I was able to finish the job thankfully, and just tossed this one in the garbage. For the price, I guess you get what you pay for, but usually Lisle tools are great quality, maybe I just received a defective unit, I don't know. Also, it comes on a card with shrink wrap, making it hard to keep track of if you have a lot of tools in your box.

Works. Feels cheap
It kind of bent while using it to pull the pins out of an 88 pickup. Came with 2 screws so I guess that is why. I hope to never have to do this job again

Great Tool!
This tool is a must to break down for repairs the steering column on cars with a tilt steering wheel. The job can also be accomplished by acquiring a grade 8 bolt and nut, a fender washer and using the nut that secures the steering wheel. But, seriously, for this low price why not just get the tool, do the job right and be done with it. For those who have broken the bolt on this puller, perhaps the reason might be that they did not use a 9/16” hex wrench as stated in the instructions to keep the bolt from turning while wrenching the nut down on the tool. By not holding the bolt steady with the hex wrench, too much torque is applied to the bolt which can often result in breakage. Hope this helps!

Piece of crap
Stripped a screw getting the first pin out. Stripped the nut trying to get the second pin out. 1 pin still in. Looking for a tool that will work now. The pins were well greased and not rusted in.
