I couldn't find my other camping pot and this one was very economical! It worked well and I could set it up the night before so I had a quick start the next morning! Lovely. I love coffee in the early am while camping. This is great!

We primarily purchased this percolator for use on an RV induction cooktop but it makes great coffee so we often bring it in the house and also use it on a gas burner. It takes a few runs to learn how long to leave the pot on to get the right coffee intensity (the instructions we received weren’t accurate in that regard) but once we figured that out the coffee is really smooth. We wash all of the parts in the dishwasher-very easy.

Normally I use a Cuisinart drip coffee maker but I decided to get a percolator too so I won't have to do without coffee should a hurricane take out power out for a number of days. My problem is that I have no idea how to use a percolator. The instructions that came with it are a joke. I'm sure anyone who has used a percolator before will probably not have a problem, in my case I'm not sure how much coffee to use or how long it should percolate. The results of my first attempt went down the drain!While the pot appears to be well constructed it does have one particular problem! The bottom is slightly rounded and so won't sit flat on a glass top stove! As soon as you turn on the heat it starts wobbling and will wobble itself right off the heating element! I do not think this will be a problem when I use it on a portable gas stove.On the positive side, the price is reasonable and it looks great. It appears to be well constructed, except for the bottom which is not flat, and I believe it will be easy to clean. It is quite adequate for my needs so I am keeping it.

Very happy with the product because it made great coffee in 7-8 minutes once the water boils but there are no instructions included. Luckily I googled some that worked great. I would not put this over an open flame. I think it is meant for a camping stove. I guess it depends how desperate you might be. : )

Heavy duty makes great coffee, durable and all that jazz

So a few things:(1) I'm trying to get away from plastics and aluminum in my food,(2) I'm a coffee fanatic and am mastering different ways to make perfect coffee, and(3) I just bought an induction range, a cooking breakthrough! Water boils twice as fast as any other method IF your cookware supports it!So I had been mastering the art of percolated coffee (rather difficult without burning the coffee!) and wanted an induction percolator that was all steel. I found this guy - it's beautiful, stunning even. It supports an honest 4x large coffee mugs worth (it says up to 10 on the side), two each for me and the missus.- Great handle design! Plenty of distance and strength from the hot surfaces.- Ingenious internal design that allows pouring a clean cup without grounds (in my practice percolator I literally had to pull out the coffee grounds mechanism before pouring);- Cute little resin cap to watch the percolation in action! Not needed but fun 😊With the press sealed lid, it actually stays hot in the percolator for 15+ minutes (although on an induction top, it's trivial to fire it up and warm everything in 45 seconds, as fast as a microwave)Really terrific little percolator - good looking, functional and super easy to clean; you can be sipping your 3rd cup while the poor Frenchman are still dismantling and regrouting their press pots!Highly recommended, particularly for induction cooktops.

Wonderful perculator pot. Filter basket does need a filter or you will have grounds in your coffee. Ut with the addition of a perculator filter it is great coffee everytime.

This product is not suitable for dishwasher, microwave or oven”.

Creo que no soy la primera que decide cambiar la cafetera eléctrica por un percolador, las eléctricas se descomponen y no encuentras refacciones.Pasando a tema, me encantó el percolador. Es muy diferente a una cafetera eléctrica. Debes aprender cuánto café ponerle y cuánto tiempo dejarla en la lumbre, una vez pasado este punto tienes un café caliente y delicioso. Es mi impresión que uso menos café para ésta que para la eléctrica.Es fácil de lavar y mantener. Ya tengo un par de semanas con ella, es una excelente adquisición.

Es un buen producto. La relación beneficio-costo me parece adecuada.

Ideal para acampar, fácil de limpiar, hierve el agua rápido y sin sabores raros. Recomendable al 100% ya que solo se requiere fuego directo de cualquier flama. De buen tamaño para 4 tazas de cafe normalitas. Además está muy bonita, yo la pedí plata.
