Systane Nighttime Lubricant Eye Ointment 3.5g Tube

Really helps with my dry eyes. Sometimes I’ll even use it during the day.It is a thicker gel style ointment, so it can make it a little difficult to see for a little while after application. I would keep that in mind and only use it during times when you are able to have your vision slightly impaired.It has a tube style applicator instead of a bottle because of the gel like consistency of the ointment. It can be a little difficult to get a small dose because the tube wants to push out a lot of ointment even with a small amount of pressure.It’s kind of expensive but worth it. I alternate with other drops to make them last longer.

I sliced my eye with my own fingernail one day when I was going to push my glasses up. Worst pain imaginable! Went through 3 years of a healing process because the wound kept ripping back open with my dry eyes in the morning. I've tried just about every drop imaginable. This nighttime gel is the best and helps me the most through the healing process. I also used it during the day. Expect a bit of burry vision for the first few minutes but it clears up. It's a very small tube but it last a while. Would recommend 10/10!

This is an absolute must for me with my dry eyes. I feel it does better than regular eyedrops. But I only use at night. It is easy to use but you do have to be careful about how much you push on the tube because a lot can come out. You don’t need too much. It is effective in relieving dryness in my eyes. definitely would recommend.

I recently had Lasik and the doctor recommended using this before bed. The texture is very odd. You have to put it on right as you go to bed and I recommend using an eye mask so you do not stay in your pillowcase. It did help with the dryness. I woke up with last dryness than regular drop. Night time is a good time to lubricate your dry eyes. I live in the desert and Dry Eye is really a problem. Trying to find a night time lubricant in a tube is proving difficult at Target and drug stores. My latest eye exam specified using this form and after several unsuccessful trips to find it, Amazon came to my rescue. I'm dismayed to find how expensive a tiny little tube is and wonder how long it will last before I need to put myself on a regular shipping order.

I've been using Systane and other brands' eyedrops for over fifteen years now. Systane's Nighttime ointment was something recommended by my ophthalmologist. My corneas had been badly scratched, so to keep the surfaces protected during the night, I've been using this ointment with great success. Recommended!

This product really helps, although it can only be used when going to bed. Very sticky. I bought the eye drops for daytime use.

This is a great brand overall. I use their dry eye drops religiously. My dog recently was having (has) neurological issues which caused him to stop blinking in one eye. I used this for about 4months to make sure his eye stayed hydrated and well lubricated to avoid infection. (Neurologist approved of course) He had no issues & I believe this product played a big part (and consistency)! Dabbed a little half pea size in the corner of his eye and would warm up and spread over his eye nicely. Took off a star for price vs amount of product
