Hi, I'm not sure what a green Starbucks stopper looks like. Does it fit inside or outside? Dimensions? What I do is just flip the lid upside down, so it's just resting on top of my latte, not sealed in, until I sip it down further and then don't need the top at all. Hope that helps. P.S. The mug keeps the drink hot enough, so not sealing in the lid isn't necessary.
