Kale Enzymatic Exfoliator

Great Product! Obsessed with it 😊

I always worry about trying new products as my skin is sensitive and prone to eczema and rosacea. Exfoliants can be especially harsh, but this one I find to be gentle yet effective. It feels lovely to apply and isn't full of hard bits like some exfoliators. It does have an interesting smell - very natural, but not unpleasant, and thankfully not over perfumed. I realise it might not be to everyones liking, but I quite like it. It can be used in 2 different ways - as a daily cleanser or as an exfoliating mask. Having sensitive skin, I prefer to use it a couple of times a week as a mask. It leaves my skin looking bright, and also feeling clean, soft and supple. My skin doesn't look red or irritated after use and it doesn't sting or leave my skin feeling uncomfortable. I'm really happy to find an exfoliator that works for my skin type :)

There is a lot about this exfoliator to absolutely love. Ironically, my first reaction wasn’t a positive one. The tube is a lot smaller than I had expected it to be; it is only slightly larger than travel or sample size. So, I thought it was kind of expensive considering the small size. However, after using it a couple of times I no longer think it is too expensive. It doesn’t take a lot of product to cover the whole face, so the tube will last a lot longer than expected, and it seems to be excellent quality. In my opinion, this exfoliator is worth the price point. Lovely gentle exfoliator that I use around my chemical exfoliation to help slough off the dead skin cells. It doesn't irritate my skin at all and I've found my skin is looking less breakout prone. Love the added antioxidants too! Would recommend :)

This is a bit different from regular scrubs since you first have to put it on dry skin, leave for a couple minutes and then add water to scrub and wash off. The consistency is a bit weird, it feels like applying a thick cream past its use-by date that pills badly. While on, the skin it tingles a little bit but doesn’t cause discomfort. Once water is added it doesn’t foam up but feels more like a cleansing balm with scrub bits in it but once rinsed off it does not leave a greasy residue as balms would. I use it after removing my makeup and drying the face as second or third cleanse and it provides a very gentle exfoliation and really cleans out the pores and removes any dry skin bits. It provides a gentle microdermabrasion like effect that makes the skin feel very smooth but you have to use it a few times to start noticing visible improvements in skin tone and texture and since you have to cover the whole face while the tube is smaller compared to other scrubs you will go through it quickly.
