Silicone-Free Conditioner

I needed to use baby shampoo after surgery. My hair gets really tangled and I found this gentle, free of bad stuff, and lavender scented conditioner! It felt safe to use post surgery- no irritation. My hair is as soft as using my higher end conditioners, but without all the bad stuff. I’m a very satisfied. It smells so good!

We love The Honest Company Shampoo and Conditioner. We switch between the citrus vanilla and lavender. Works great for my little ones; no tears. Both scents smell amazing! Bottles arrive in perfect shape and are a great size. Leaves hair soft and great with curly hair.

I like this conditioner better than its corresponding shampoo. I didn't fall in love with the smell but it's okay. It is nice and moisturizing, which I enjoy. I may or may not purchase again.

••Long Review •••I am 47 years old and African-American and in my wiser years, I have become pretty obsessed with my health after seeing some of the impact and consequences of our diet & hair care practices in my fellow community. Our hair can be very challenging to work with and so most of us have grown up with either getting our hair pressed, which is a pretty traumatic experience when you’re a kid or getting relaxers, which are some of the most harmful chemicals that you can apply to your hair & scalp. After a recent healthcare scare, my OBGYn told me that I absolutely cannot get relaxers anymore & so I’ve started on the journey of just wearing my natural hair. I did not do a big chop, but instead just cut off my ends gradually until all of the perm grew out. I’m full year into my natural hair journey. I was watching Bobby Flav in YouTube and he was talking about all of the harmful chemicals that are home and health care products and that he has an app where you can scan the barcode and it will tell you if it’s approved or not and why. It is completely free and it’s called “Bobby Approved” and I would suggest that everyone get it. I will not name the name of the previous shampoo, conditioners, and leave in conditioners that I have used over the years, but when you think about all of the popular brands, there’s not a ton that African-Americans haven’t tried or currently use. I scanned all of my very expensive hair care products on this app and to my horror, NONE of them were approved & all contained very harmful chemicals. Cut to Jessica Alba’s Honest Brand; all of her products are approved by the app and I remembered her saying that she created the company when she had her first daughter, Honor. Of course, I never tried them because I believed that they would not work for my type of hair. Since this product was so affordable, I thought what do I have to lose and I purchased the lavender shampoo and body wash and conditioner, and her detangling spritz. The shampoo is light and it smells amazing. The conditioner has amazing slip. I was so surprised that I finger detangle 4 sections after just a couple of minutes. This just never happens with the products that I currently use, I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone! I normally have to let the conditioner sit for several minutes & combine it with another one before I can start the very long process of detangling it. I was able to easily comb through the 4 sections in the shower. After applying the detangler spray to towel dried hair m, I finished detangling my entire head in less than ten minutes. This is normally an hour long, painful experience, that is very frustrating & tear inducing. 😭 My hair & scalp feel so light & clean & $22 is about a tenth of what I normally pay for hair care products. I feel like I have my life back & I am giving both her & Bobby air hugs!!❤️❤️❤️Thanks for reading & hanging in there with me. The best duo for my toddler's hair and skin! The conditioner makes it so much easier to brush my kid's hair after a shower. It was usually harder to detangle when I was using Aveeno. My mom has noticed a difference with her hair after a week of her using it. And I love the smell too! It really smells like lavender.

Smells great, works perfectly in my childs hair. Je has lots of hair, it detangles in seconds as it washes out. Hair feels lovely and soft.

I was looking for a conditioner that’s quick acting and nourishing for my active toddler curly locks. She’s got sensitive skin, soo natural ingredients was important too. After reading the reviews, invested in this product and wasn’t disappointed. Only a small amount needed for a couple of minutes and I had wonderfully detailed hair that took a minute to comb through rather then the usual battle and addition of detangler. Like the other reviews, I agree it’ll leave hair greasy if you use too much, but it’s just trial and error, definitely bang for Buck!
