Incredible Range and Rock-Solid Connection!
The TP-Link Omada Long Range Outdoor Access Point exceeded my expectations! I installed it to extend Wi-Fi coverage across my property, and the performance has been flawless. The signal easily reaches from the house to my garage and backyard with strong, stable speeds — no drops, even through walls and trees. Setup was simple using the Omada app, and the interface makes managing the network incredibly easy. The build quality is excellent — weatherproof and sturdy, perfect for outdoor use. Once mounted and powered up, it just works! I also love how seamlessly it integrates with other TP-Link Omada devices. Whether you’re setting up Wi-Fi for a large yard, farm, or small business, this access point delivers professional-grade performance at a great price. Highly recommend for anyone who wants reliable, long-range outdoor Wi-Fi coverage!

Works great set up was easy
Love this product Works excellent to beam internet, have one on the shed and one on the house and have internet in the whole Farm yard, we have multiple smart switches around the yard and they have never disconnected from the internet unless the internet goes down.

Great hardware.
Originally bought these to extend the network at a relative's house, to cover the back yard, and provide an uplink to another EAP-610 at the barn. I did not research it properly or I would have understood the caveats to the "mesh" claim. By themselves, without an Omada controller, these devices do not do any kind of mesh. Other than that, as repeaters or APs, they're great, the price point was excellent, easy to install, easy to chain them up in the Omada app to repeat the signal out to the barn. Most impressive is the resulting coverage, which turns out to reach the boundaries of the entire property. Several acres, I'm not sure exactly how many. Hundreds of meters in all directions. After about a year of use, with frequent drop-outs due to the fiber provider's gateway rebooting and the repeaters failing to rejoin, we upgraded to the OC220 Omada hardware controller and the Omada ER706W Wifi Gateway, for true mesh and centralized management. This was definitely the right move, Omada's management interface is wonderful for this price point, providing lots of useful information, optimization, and configuration options, as well as remote management. Performance significantly improved, as well, after disabling the provider modem's wifi, enabling IP passthrough and disabling NAT, all handed off to the new Omada gateway, which is part of the mesh. Throughput and latency to wireless clients is excellent. I would buy these again, and would like to add some of the newer, beefier Omada APs in the future.

Would have been a 5 - but NO CABLE ?
I guess I have to scratch my head on this one. $129 for a wireless repeater - but no ethernet cable included ? I could not even power it on or do any setup. I live in a rural area - hence the need for a repeater - so I had to take a 30 mile trip back to town after getting home only to discover the device did not include a $1 cable. Spent $12 at Home Depot for one and another $10 worth of gas. Why is it that I can buy a $25 off brand router and it comes with a cable, but this expensive device does not ? This device cannot even be powered on out of the box. Makes no sense to me at all. FAIL. I would have given a zero - but the device was easy to set up and use once I actually did get it powered on and installed. UPDATE : I decided to return this product - as others have mentioned it is very cumbersome to set up correctly. I was getting very poor range but again, as other have said it really takes multiple apps to get this right. Sadly, the web interface did not work (i.e. tplinkwifi.net ) the default password did not match what was in the manual I was never able to get in and troubleshoot. As a word to the wise - claims of up to 300 feet are not possible. I literally live in the middle of nowhere - my Starlink router provides longer distance coverage than this router and its INSIDE a building. Add that to the fact I could not power it up out of the box because of the cable issue above - AND support from the company was non-existant - back it goes. What a disappointment. I wasted HOURS on this.

Good range
I have a shop separate from my house and wanted to get wifi to it easily. This set up works pretty well. I am able to stream my music, play videos on my phone, all without issues. Pretty easy to set up, easy to install, and works well. It is about 50’ from my wifi source, then another 50’ to the inside portion of my shop. Range is really good, I hold my wifi signal at least 100-200’ from this device.

Awesome signal!
These outdoor wifi extenders are awesome. Just remember to get a switch with POE ports which are super because you'll not need an outlet to power the extenders. I'm super pleased with the range extension and the slim design makes them easy to install over white trim and virtually go away. I will purchase more of these extenders in the future.

GOOD - an INJECTOR in the BOX
This is good and no problems or issues. I have it installed about three months now and all is working great. I have just one issue I could mention to help others out. When I purchased this it was not clear in the description that it included an "INJECTOR" in the box. So, I made a separate purchase of an "INJECTOR", unfortunately by the time I was able to do my install of my Access Point the time had run out for a return of the separate "INJECTOR" purchased. Otherwise, a good product.
