This is my first 'fancy' wire stripper with other functions. I thought it may be overkill for me- a reluctant DIYer (only when something breaks). However, this is a very cool tool and I really appreciate how well it is designed and how well it works. It almost makes stripping wires too easy- it does exactly what it is supposed to and is built very well.

I purchased this item because I was stripping the wires on my guitar internal electronics (guitar pickups). I don't have any electrical experience but this tool did all the work for me so I didn't have to hassle with learning. The tool was great and worked perfectly. I ended up gifting it to my electrician uncle and he still uses it to this day.
