It was a gift for my grandson.
It looks like it would be perfect for getting him mechanically inclined like his dad.

Clever stem toy
Creative Integration of multiple gears to allow wing movements. Strong quality parts that make assembly interesting.

Dissapointing
I bought it for my grandson, he saw it on TV but when it arrived it was made of soft cardboard, very difficult for a 6 yr to make, even grown-ups tried and gave up. Sadly he was very disappointed, it was not as easy as they made it out to be on TV. Several parts can't be put together because it bent easily. Lost money and worthless gift. Sitting in my closet because it can't be put together.

Fun and well made!
Really nice quality. And a cute little paper robot for desk when it’s all done!

Not for kids
I never post poor reviews but this is a first. The packaging states "No Scissors, No Glue, One Hour, STEM and 7+". I agree with no scissors but to keep this together while assembling you need to tape or glue the tabs. I am a graduate engineer and it took me about 3 hours to put this together. Not because it is that difficult, the instructions are only pictures which are insufficient in detail. I had to remove and restart the assembly multiple times to determine the correct configuration. I doubt very seriously a 7 year old could do this and a teen ager would trash it. After final completion, the operation was minimal at best along with a toy easily crushed with the slightest pressure.
