A 50% difference in my shoe's comfort!
So far, I have bought three pair of these, because the first pair was so good I couldn't help myself. Now I know that we all don't need ANOTHER review, but again, I couldn't help myself! :) I have been looking at these for awhile now, and it was only the other day that I decided to try them, I'm glad that I did. Not only did these work, they work very well. The FIRST PAIR (white) was for a brand new pair of Adidas walking shoes, they felt O.K., but with these, it made them REALLY comfortable! I walked on my treadmill and it made quite the difference. To say I was impressed, well, I was. I'd rate the comfort in these shoes as a 6 out of 10, (with 10 being best) but, it's the shoe, not the laces, I think, I'll get back to you on that if I find something different. The SECOND PAIR I bought was for an older pair of "tennis shoes" (that's what we call call them in Texas) that were really still very nice, even though they are probably around 15 years old. I rarely wear them, only to run out real fast, or something, the reason was that I bought them a size too small. I wear a 9-1/2 and these were a size 9... Anyway, they kind of hurt my feet if I wore them too long, hence why I rarely wear them, so after I put on my new GREY color shoe laces! (A guy in a Review above me complained because there were no grey colored ones, well, they do have them) These laces made such a HUGE difference that it was at least a 50 increase in comfort, I can only guess that since they were slightly too small, these stretch laces allowed my foot to expand horizontally, hence my newfound comfort. I just walked 30 minutes on my treadmill and they were perfect! I now not only have a comfortable shoes, I actually gained a new pair of shoes! :) I would rate these a 9 out of 10, I'd give them a 10 but I don't have enough use to really rate them. I love 'em though! So, today my THIRD PAIR arrived, they are for my hiking boots (that I never hike in), I just wear them everywhere. While the laces were very comfortable, this pair did not make me scream with joy, I liked it, a lot, but it was not a huge difference. I'd rate these at a 8 out of 10, again, I am unsure of the longevity, but my initial trial is that these are going to be good. The GOOD THING though is, I can slip on, and off, ALL of my shoes with ease, and that to me is a really good thing. I read a lot of complaints about how the snap closure doesn't work well, I found that to not be true in my case. You need to understand how they work, then you can make them work. You need to make sure that the lace is nowhere in the way of the snap, if it is, it won't close properly. Also, if you screw up, and I did, you can undo the snap by using a ball-point pen or something semi-pointed that is not sharp that you can poke into the end of it, that releases it. You can then try snapping them again, it ought to work fine. It makes an audible CLICK! when snapped correctly. For the people that lose them, I would almost bet that they never had them snapped correctly in the first place. Makes sure that you do your part correctly because these seem to be made very well and I can sure see how someone that isn't good at these things could have trouble. I had a little trouble on my first one, so I can relate. One more thing. I have also read Reviews where people say they they BROKE while tying them. Broke? Tying them? You don't need to tie them, you rarely need to pull on them if you install them correctly. These are designed to be a looser fit than a regular shoelace, and, they DO NOT need tying, not even a little bit. Look at the pictures, that will show you what you need to make yours look like. The way I have mine done there will be no way that I can ever break my laces, there are no knots, not tangles, no nothing to make it ever snap or break. If you adjust yours quite a bit I can see that wear can happen, but that would take a long while, I would think. Just something to think about. :) I know this is long, probably no one will ever read it, but In felt I needed to say how well these are! :) I'll be back for a report on how well they did after some time, just to make sure that I'm not giving credit if they are not what I said they were..

Much better than tie laces!
Bought a pair of barefoot style shoes on Amazon and they are wonderful. But the laces were so long, I was tripping over them. Decided to try these elastic laces though I've never had laces like this before. They were very easy to lace and following the included instructions, it was simple to attach the adjustment, trim the laces, and add the clasp to hide the ends of the laces. Easy peasy! And they look wonderful, allow slipping on and off the shoes instead of lacing and unlacing, and are the perfect length. No fuss, no muss, and look great!

Helpful for Disability
I’ve ordered a fair number of these over the years in a variety of colors. They’re a great option for my kid who has a disability preventing tying regular laces. I do need to be the one to set them up and lock them on. Once on they look sporty and make for a fairly easy on and off as well as tightening and loosening. My only issue is that sometimes the rectangular “lock” will pop open. If that happens there’s no getting it to stay shut again and I have to buy a new pair. That said, it doesn’t happen all the time. Usually the kid wears out the shoes long before the laces.

Don't hesitate 😉
These are a little complicated to install, but so so comfy, convenient, and cute! They're very lightly reflective which makes them even cuter. I feel like these are gonna last a long time. I love that my work shoes are slip on slip off, and I got three different colors for my three identical pairs of shoes so I can tell which ones to wear at a glance!

At Last, Shoe Laces You Don't Have To Tie
I tried these on leather street shoes and they worked reasonably well. I have to use a long-handle shoehorn to put the shoes on, but I often had to do that even with regular shoe strings. There is a trade-off between how tight the shoes are and how easy they are to put on. Then, to remove your shoes you have to push one toe against the other heel to slip them off. No more bending or crouching to tie and untie the laces. Once you have your shoes on, wear them a while to decide how much slack you need. The tightness/looseness can be adjusted and re-clamped if need be. Look at my sequence of pictures to see how to install the RJ-Sport Tieless Elastic Shoe Laces. If you singe the cut ends lightly they will be easier to push into the locking clamps. The shoehorn I used is described on Amazon as: "Essential Medical Supply Deluxe 2 Pack of Long Handle 24in Shoehorns with Spring Flex End..."

Makes your life easier.
I bought these to replace the long floppy laces on my bowling shoes. They are made well and easy to install. They make putting on my shoes fast and easy. Love'em!

Works well, Questionable durability
They worked really well while they lasted. The clip was a pain to press to initially lace the shoe, but it works well to make my shoes easy to slip on with my orthotics. Unfortunately, one of my laces broke today after about 6 months of wear. I don't know if it was a faulty lace or whether I laced them too tight, but I don't think i can recommend them for durability.

Game changer!!
These are great! I have purchased several variations of these laces for most of my shoes including work boots, athletic sneakers, and everyday shoes. I am guilty of stepping on the back of shoes to try to slide them on, ruining the shoes pretty quickly. These laces stay in place, are easy to set up and make sliding on my shoes a breeze!
