Bought several locks for Aventon E-bikes. These are sturdy, well built & engineered. A little heavy to pack but definitely a deterrent. Can you hack them? Sure, but it would require a grinder. I love the combination lock design as it can be set to your preference & eliminates keys.

The media could not be loaded. The Rock Bros combo Lock is perfect for my 13 year old. She doesn’t have to worry about losing a key and it fits nicely on the bicycle seat tube without any interference while Pedaling. Its compact enough to stay with the bike and use as needed when the bike is unattended like at school. It also appears to be very sturdy and secure.

Highly recommend for my ebike, especially with the code key vs carrying a key! I have locked 2 bikes to standard bike posts. Very string and the mounting cradle is very functional and out of the way on my ebike frame.

There is a button on the lock you must press it to release or insert the lock bar.The mounting bracket has a hole just under the RockBros graphic that allows you to put in the first screw or bolt. The current mount allows for velcro bands and a tubular mount which takes up precious space on my Aventon Aventure 2. I would prefer a flat / flush mount bracket.It's not as noisy as I thought it would be.

Heavy duty build. It is heavy! The design of the dial makes it extremely hard to turn the lock combination. The bracket is made for regular diameter bikes, so for ebikes with large down tubes, it does not sit flush with the tube and scratches the frame.

I love the solid construction and ease of use. With normal “corkscrew” style bike locks it’s always awkward to unravel it. With this lock it slips out easily and folds up quickly.

kinda clunky. i prefer the coil locks.
