Melnor R301 8 Pattern Thumb Control Relaxed Grip Nozzle

I am an avid gardener, and my water nozzle in the front of the house leaked badly. I had bought a new famous label hose, and it came with a really great nozzle, that could not be purchased separately. This Melnor thumb control nozzle works very well, just like the new one I bought. I like the spray options, and the thumb control of water flow. I recommend it.

The thumb controlled valve on the handle is great! There is a lot of space between the valve and the outlet so after you turn it off there will still be a teaspoon or two of water that will dribble out for a few minutes. After that it is totally dry and no leaking.

Delivered as scheduled. Package was intact, no damage. This is the 4th and 5th hose nozzles I have purchased for our yard. We have an one acre lot and I have six hoses set up to cover the acre. With advancing age and some arthritis in our hands, we have found this nozzle to be the easiest and most reliable nozzle to use.

Had one day and Nozzle leaks on some settings, may need to replace washers . Will try for another week or so and then return if not satisfied.

It broke after 2 months of use. water sprays and leaks out even when its set to off. I took care of it too and. I have barely used it and I cant even get a refund or new one since theres no warranty.

Nice, sturdy nozzle for my porch hose. It has many settings. Plants get “shower” and cleaning up wooden porch chairs gets “jet”. The thumb control for slowing or turning off the water flow is very convenient.

The lever that lets you turn this nozzle on and leave it on, without having to hold down a trigger, is a game changer! I have raised garden beds, and with this feature the nozzle can function like a mini-sprinkler: I prop it up on the edge of a bed with and leave it to water a particular section, then move it to another area. Don't have to stand out in the heat directing the spray myself, nor use a regular sprinkler that's not as easily targeted.

When it works, it’s great. But if you get one season out of it you’re lucky.

Bought those thinking they would be very solid and the plastic part didn’t last a month. It’s already leaking after 1 month. Very disappointed.
